I gave Allods a shot running 3 different League characters through the opening tower sequence and a little bit after that. Both the warrior and summoner could be fun, though I might be remaking the summoner (my 5y.o. daughter loved the character creator though I'm not overly fond of the cutesy elf-chick she came up with). I see no massive differentiation from other games so far but it is certainly polished and I'll play it a bit more before deciding for sure.. I must admit it's rather difficult to find a good character guide / skill information so I feel like I'm allocating skills/attributes blindly.

I'm sick of buying time cards for MMORPGs, so I want to find a really good F2P one. I have Guild Wars Collection and have been playing Aion but don't want to pay any more. I don't mind buying the disk as long as it's free to play. Anyone know any good ones? There are thousands on the Internet but I don't know what the best ones are. Thanks.

If you are into games like Guild Wars, I guess you should look into Lord of the Rings online? I'm told its about to go F2P in September sometime.

Gave Allods a 3 day shot, and it just seems like the average Korean grinder (like Perfect World). And I know it's Russian, not Korean.

Made a League Druid, and had absolutely zero problems quickly soloing my way to 8th. Then tried other characters and they're nowhere near as fast PvE. So I presume this game follows the "good at pve OR good at pvp, never both" school of balance and design. The camping of boss-ish mobs is another turnoff.

Gonna stick to DDO and try LoTR I think.

I got up to level 22 on my Cleric, a lot of players have left the game and to be honest I have lost interest in the game.

I will wait for Old republic for my next MMORPG,in the meantime I have Dragon Age expansion pack to play and Gothic 4 for next month.

I'm still playing Dungeon Fighter Online. Quite a change from 3D MMORPG games. It's like the D&D beat-em-ups from Capcom.
