I had a cop do this on the freeway. I had been pacing a car in front of me going about 100 or so down 101 on a barren stretch. Cop pulled over the car in front of me who was about a half mile ahead and then jumped into the freeway to get me to stop.

Guy filming was obnoxious but he has a point. I'm pretty certain if a driver didn't stop in time and hit the officer they'd be charged with attempted vehicular homicide or something.

Cops standing on the sidewalk with radar gun. As speeding car approaches they flag them down and step out into the roadway (somewhat.. though it honestly looks like the cop at the end isn't even quite into the roadway when the car slams on the brakes)

I like how the cop tells the cameraman that he needs stay out of the street for safety, while standing in the street obstrucing traffic.

Cameraman is a douche too.

Some nutjob bothering the cops for doing their job.

Obstructing traffic is their job? Harassing citizens like the guy in the navy blue truck?

Honestly, no right to film cops? If police officers weren't so afraid of their fucking antics making it onto YouTube, maybe they should stop acting like cunts.

Ok, then let's just let the speeders continue on their rushed journey to wherever they're going, putting lives at risk.

Seriously, all these anti-cop crusaders exaggerate their observations and are completely biased against cops.

I remember cops doing this on the highway 20 years ago. Is this really surprising to anyone?

You know why we're bias? Because we see cops breaking the law with no repercussions but if we so much as step out of line one little way the officer throws every single law he can find or stretch to fit the situation.

Fuck cops.

They can catch speeders normally. Set up speed traps, stay in their cars on roadways until the speeder is pulled over in a spot safe enough for the officer to get out and approach, etc.

Seriously, fuck cops. Even some of the few cops I respected have recently proven that they're little more than the power-abusing above-the-law assholes I've dealt with.

The cop didn't even look like he stepped out into the street. Granted it is kinda dumb (seeing that last car slam on its brakes) but for all we know, it might have been one of the cameraman's friends (considering how douchey he was acting).

I would hardly say flagging a car down is trying to get run over.

If your looking for a video to bash cops with, this isn't one.

The man is doing a good thing. Especially when that guy in the truck claims that the camera man is somehow breaking the law as well. Makes me LOL. If nothing else, at least this youtube and his website, PoliceCrimes.com is letting ignorant Texans know that its your right as a citizen to film police officers. Even when police officers claim its not.

Today I learned both the police and the citizens of Houston are nutjobs.
