Trump condemning this would be like the NRA sending out thoughts and prayers after a school shooting. His words will mean absolutely nothing unless he stops the division and we know his mega ego won't let him quit. Win at all cost no matter the price.

Arm yourselves. Things are only going to get worse and this is just the beginning.

So much this. I can actually see the man sitting there thinking “my fans won’t like it if I say something”.

How sad is it that is a real fucking possibility?
My take is that when enough outrage and political heat builds up over Trumps hideous narcissistic refusal to condemn behavior he uses for political self interest, he will toss off some insincere condemnation and immediately act like he never said it.

No, Jones silenced himself by knowingly peddling false stories that led to death threats and stoked hatred for groups like transgender people. Being conservative is fine online; putting people's lives at stake is not.

Shhh, don't confuse self victimized sock puppets with reality... In TrumpTard SockPuppetvillet speaking out against someone's hate speech and outright lies is tantamount to the Government coming to your house and arresting you for something you said...

I am really enjoying the conservatards turning themselves into the triggered snowflake cucks they decry...

Another package at the Union Tribune in San Diego. That one is interesting. Why that newspaper of all the possibilities?

Eric Holder was also an intended target.

Apparently the Debbie Wasserman Schultz pkg was originally sent to Eric Holder at a wrong address and the return address was Schultz's so it was returned to her office. Also the other pkgs to Obama, Clintons, etc. had the same Schultz return address.

KTVU notes that this building also housed offices for Senator Kamala Harris.

Basically, it's a quintessential Trump supporter who took all the lies to heart and is trying to kill (or at least scare) everyone who dared challenge Dear Leader.

Harris seems like the more likely target although as someone who was subjected to the UT's garbage reporting for many years if I was going on a national bombing campaign and had a spare I could totally see sending it their way.

The device sent to CNN. NYPD calls it a "live explosive" and the envelope also contained a white powder.

Mayor Bill de Blasio, Governor Andrew Cuomo, and New York Police Commissioner James P. O’Neill are holding a news conference at Columbus Circle regarding the suspicious device found in the building of CNN’s New York offices.

O’Neill said the device appeared to be a live explosive device.

An envelope containing white powder was also discovered as part of the original packaging, the commissioner said.

Right now CNN is saying the police there say that one is not an explosive device.

Copycat cranks are a given. What remains to be seen is if this effort is that of an individual or a group. But we know there are good people on both sides, right?

This will probably not be a one-off. Things could be about to get very ugly in America. This appears to be a new low in our descent into hell. This is by far the most depressing time to be an American in my lifetime.

Trump and the Republicans should immediately denounce this in the strongest language possible, and moderate conservatives should use this as a talking point to tone down the irresponsible partisan tribalistic inflammatory rhetoric coming from Trump.

Is this humor hour?

More like both sides, bad people, but only one side has a President encouraging those bad people.

Correct.

I also find it interesting that with whatever misery this terrorist is experiencing in life, he seems to blame it on the party that is absolutely out of power--and essentially had been out of power for nearly 8 years now. "Yeah! Kill them dems for....barely holding any type of public office in any meaningful way for...a decade! Yeah! It's all their fault!"

It's not so much that the President is strongly encouraging his followers to act out in violence and murder, daily, but that his party has been working hard to convince their people that, magically, their decades-long control of nearly all local and mostly national government agencies has nothing to do with why government has been so consistently failing them through all that time.

You know who did it? Whether it is a Trump supporter or not, and while I'm sure Clinton is a criminal, I hope they find who did this and throw the book at him or her. The Clintons should face due process, not vigilante, cowardly attacks like this.

Why are you sure that Clinton is a criminal? spell it out. You ignore the decades of Trump's known criminal activity, declare him God's vicar on earth, and look elsewhere for your rage? Explain yourself. Or just huff down another carton of cigarettes.
