thats the whole thing, its a business, not the cops or government, and he wasn't arrested! completely different ballpark

why are you so entitled to the best customer service when your losing a company money, be happy you got it and STFU. if you were actually buying it with cash and recieved the same treatment it would be a different story, why because your a paying customer. sorry i guess your part of the whole "i'm entitled to everything i see, and shine my shoes while your at it" movement.

And how many of those times did you have the cops called on you?

You're bringing in irrelevant facts. It doesn't matter whether he got the BBB for free or if he spent $300 at McDonald's to get them.

0....but i would i have cared, not in the least. also maybe if i had 100 of something that the average customer usually has maybe 5 of i'd have a better chance. they called the cops to verify his ID, not to kick him out of the store or arrest him. how's that so bad, last i check most cops doen't have too bad of breath(well i take that back:p) and don't harbor many infectious diseases...

if he had been kicked out i can see complaining, because that'd be extreme. but that didn't happen. HE GOT THE PRODUCT.

So what you are saying is that if you get something for free then you can have any roadblock or poor service foisted upon you short of being arrested as long as you eventually get the thing.

ive havent had cops called on me at a store, but i had them call on me when some fat lady that lives across the street saw me and my friend toasting marshmellows with an open fire. The fire wasnt more than 6 inches being fed by newspaper but the lady told the cops that it was bigger than her.

lol no i'm say don't whine so much. you should be thankful that you got $109 free. and if you don't like the company that gives you $109 free then don't shop there. people fail to see that hey this is a business and they probably don't want to lose money if they don't have to, so yeah they'll probably do everything in their power to avoid it. wouldn't you if it was your business? they are trying to make a profit for their shareholders in the most efficient way possible, plain and simple.

ppl that whine annoy me, sorry. i guess its the cool thing to do in OT, i'll try to stick to gen hw.

Actually, that wasn't $109 free, it's two 37 cent stamps plus two envelopes, maybe $87 in material expenses, and that doesn't even begin to figure the time involved, I can't imagine it's easy sending 109 sase's to McDonalds.

you just have to send in for them. look at the official rules for the address. basically any contest like this has to have a no purchase required clause, you just have to send in a SASE to them and they send you back the game piece.

So by simply sending an empty enveloppe with your address on it, they put in a game piece and mail it back to you?

God damm, you're really an %&^%&^^.
How many times did you mentioned the word FREE ??
For the last time, he did not get anything for FREE.

FREE would imply that he got those $109 BB bucks FREE which he didn't.
He either had to eat at McDs or did the SASE mailing.
So NO, it was not FREE.

And still, you don't get the point.
There is specific rules and regulation for the BB Bucks.
They did state a $300 limit for a reason.
If my math is correct, $109 is a whole lot less than $300.
He is well within his rights, so why did the manager call the cops on him ???

If BestBuy don't want people to abuse the coupons, they should limit the maximum usuage to $50 or something.
