Let me get my free water and spout off...Efff him. Too bad he lost his $200K job.....Not.Speaking of unemployable...I saw something about the chic-fil-a dude the other day who is nigh unemployable.
The one who went through the drive through and berated the girl at the window.
He got hired somewhere else, but was fired when they found out who he was.
Found it:

What the heck will she do for a living now? She lost the lawsuit. Now her name is plastered all over the media. No one is going to hire her, she would be considered a toxic employee and a huge liability.
So how the heck will she earn a living?

Really, too bad his 4 kids have been put through hell because he's a dick.
Thought he was an e-lite.You would think that someone in his position, 4 children, married, CFO 200K a year 1 million dollar stock option would have better things to do that pull that childish stunt.
man shes still employable but her life is a total joke, her husband "buddy" is a black dude that was gay his whole adult life until he married her. its just a matter of time before that sitch blows up

the whole thing sounded a little weird. if youre a partner at kleiner why would you go after an average looking chick whos over 30 and has a decent job and a law degree. man id go after the hot 20 year old receptionist or secretary.
He made a video where he went on a rant about Chik-Fil-A supporting hate groups and threw in at the end that he doesn't understand how she works there, while also saying she deserves better. He didn't come off as threatening. He made her uncomfortable for all of about a minute.
Sure it was wildly inappropriate and inconsiderate to the worker, and arrogant to pull off as a stupid publicity stunt to make him feel like a good guy fighting a good fight (he even pats himself on the back for it). After he lost his job he posted an apology video to the woman. Don't you think removing his ability to ever get work again is a little harsh?

You have already been proven wrong. So move on.No one is going to hire her, she would be considered a toxic employee and a huge liability.
Wow this jury got it all wrong. I am wondering if it was all men. I guess they think letters asking for sexual favors is OK.
Apparently the jury decision wasn't unanimous, it was 8 to 4. Only a majority is required either way.
Why I don't bother.
What government agency is preventing him from getting a job? Yeah I thought so. In the past when people became social pariahs they went into exile. He's free to immigrate to another country and find a job or start a business there.
He removed his own ability to get a job. The douchebag berates this poor girl who is just trying to earn a living, for something she did not say. He was all smug and self congratulatory hoping to get his 15 minutes of fame.
Instead he came off like a major douchebag, embarrassed himself and the company he worked for. He should have known better, he is an adult not a teenager.
No one wants to hire someone like that, it is his own fault.
I hope a video of you being a d*****bag never goes viral then.. we've probably all been d*****bags and went off on people for something stupid at some point... Expecting someone to be unemployable for the rest of their lives or having to leave the country to survive after something like this is insane. People are so incredibly harsh and judgemental over things they see online.

Guess again. Jury consisted of six men and six women. Among them, four were white, one was black, two were hispanic, and five were asian. Did you really think they court would have accepted an all male jury?
75% is required, which they reached on three of the four claims, including anything having to do with gender discrimination. The last claim, concerning the nature of her firing, is not decided on yet.
I never said anything like that. I'm saying that it's harsh that people think he deserves to never have a job again, which has been clearly stated in this thread.

He didn't even really berate her, he mostly just ranted at her about the company, not her. He said he doesn't understand how she can work for them, but he followed that up by saying she seems like a good person. I don't agree with what he did at all and I think it's good he's rebuked for it but this is crazy.
By the way, it seems to me the real reason the first company fired him is because their voice mail was full of bomb threats. Had this not gone viral like it had I doubt they would have cared, but no one wants to risk getting attacked by assholes from the internet. This is how a lot of mob justice online goes down. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who sends threats like this online is much worse of a person than he was.
If you read the details/background the whole thing was a disaster. And her Husband a scammer who tried to play the race card twice, the last time blowing up on him badly and exposing his funds as scams ala ponzi style.
The Lawsuit coincided with his scam unraveling.
would you want your company associated with him? I sure in the hell would not.
Not to mention who knows if he is going to do it again. what then?
the guy is going to have to take shit jobs now. I don't feel for him at all.
I wouldn't care if my company was associated with him if people weren't sending me bomb threats. Of all the people online who want to rake this guy over the coals I'm sure very few, if any were ever going to be interested in this company in the first place.
I kind of think the guy learned his lesson about doing things like this and I'd be pretty amazed if he did it again.
People in this thread aren't just saying he'll have to take shit jobs, but that he should never be able to get a job again, or have to leave the country to find work...

There is something up with the way the guy looks/acts/behaves that likely comes across in interviews as hostile/unpredictable. He doesn't look like the type of person to have learned his lesson honestly. He has said he doesn't regret it. He is a risk to any company associated with him. He had his employer getting death threats. Thats crazy.
That is not what i asked you. I do not care about the idiots calling in bomb threats. they should be found and charged.
I asked if you would have this guy who WAS CFO of your company work for you.
This, exactly, and well said. No one is punishing him. The world is simply recognizing that he is an asshole, and not a very bright one at that.He removed his own ability to get a job. The douchebag berates this poor girl who is just trying to earn a living, for something she did not say. He was all smug and self congratulatory hoping to get his 15 minutes of fame.

Yep. His whole family suffers because he felt like abusing a low level employee to make himself feel better.Let me get my free water and spout off...Efff him. Too bad he lost his $200K job.....Not.

The vast majority of people never do anything nearly this vile, cowardly and stupid. Still, I am not saying he should never have another job, but I would certainly never hire him. There are far too many good people looking for good jobs to justify hiring this douche; it's just so much easier to train a good person to do any particular job than to train an asshole to be a good person. I give him no credit for his apology either; maybe it was sincere, but it was based totally on how his actions affected him, not how they affected her.I never said anything like that. I'm saying that it's harsh that people think he deserves to never have a job again, which has been clearly stated in this thread.

It's not his fault his employer was getting death threats. Nothing justifies that.
I'm not saying he took what he did to heart (although he did apologize), what I'm saying is that unless he's completely oblivious he'll understand the kind of consequences he'll face from doing something like this again.
He didn't say he doesn't regret it either, he said he stands by his opinions of the Chik-Fil-A (which a lot of people share, nothing extraordinary here) but that the worker didn't deserve to have the rant directed at her or the video of her uploaded to the internet and that he's very sorry he expressed it that way.
I don't think he was really that hostile in the first place. Very rude and confrontational, yes, and sort of an invasion of privacy, but not especially threatening. I kind of wonder if people would have taken this differently if the person he was ranting at was a man.
I wouldn't have fired him, no, especially if I knew him well and could judge him to be sincere in his apology, and if this behaviour wasn't consistent with a pattern of such inconsiderate actions. I thought "I wouldn't care if my company was associated with him" conveyed that.
I wouldn't have buckled under bomb threats because I would have known that the internet idiots sending them out almost certainly wouldn't have followed through on it. But many people wouldn't know that and would be terrified.
