It's just...Bloody hell. What next, we're gonna be calling Obama Little Black Sambo?

I really don't know why I'm surprised, seeing that it's the usual culprits, but, Jesus Christ. That's a new low.

It's some sort of fashion statement among conservatives, I think- bigotry is the new black, apparently. They think it looks good on Donald so it'll look good on them, too.

That's really why I started this thread, knowing their well-conditioned hatred of Warren. I figure they never even clicked the link to find out what she actually said before they started dog whistling to each other about what they already believe. What she said about Trump is immaterial to them- all that matters is who they think she is. Well, and believing that the Donald is here to make America great again despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Are they talking about La Raza yet? That's another great boogeyman & object of scorn, a subject they can really wrap their twisted heads around, huh?

No, just the usual Pocahantus routine so far.

You've really got your hate on for Republicans today, don't you?

Curious: Are you wanting them all exterminated yet?

Thank you for that, buckscat. Been wanting the perfect retort to you, especially since now you fully acknowledge there are nuances to language, sentences and words.
When have I said otherwise? With "La Raza"? The words mean "the race" and the term could be used in other contexts and not in a literal sense. This has been my position from the beginning.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt. Ya decided to call Native Americans "Indians", a good ol' holdover from the days o' Columbus The Sex Slaver. But whatevs.
What does this have to do with Warren's blood lines?

I notice you didn't dispute a word of it, did you?

Exterminate? Please. I'm just trying to get people to take a hard look at themselves & what they believe.

It's astounding that they'll go to such great lengths to define bigotry as not bigotry when it's part of their most cherished beliefs. If it weren't, they wouldn't even try & they'd be as repulsed by Trump as I am.

It's an opportunity to man-up & look into our hearts, to see our own fears expressed as bigotry & to overcome them, to say "I know I'm wrong to think that way" & to act & speak accordingly. Or not.

Even Robert Byrd figured it out, 30 years ago.

Because calling all Republicans a bunch of bigots is a great way to provoke introspective consideration:

If you were NOT repulsed by Donald Trump then I would not be supporting him.

This runs along the lines of why I know Barack Obama is not a Christian: Because if he were you'd hate him.

Likewise the fact that you harbor a venomous hatred of Donald Trump is to me one of the best endorsements of the man because just as you can judge someone by their friends so can you judge them by their enemies.

See you in November. :)

I still find it humorous Warren is braver and better able to take hits from Trump than every single Republican candidate who all claimed to be tough, as I said earlier I'll give Graham a partial pass he kind of stood up.

Your methodology of decision making is flawed.

Carry on.

"I notice you didn't dispute a word of it, did you?"

I also don't argue with brick walls.

Sticking with bigotry, huh? I really didn't expect it to be any different. I merely feel obligated to give people an opportunity to achieve better self awareness should they have the courage to seek it.

She didn't gain anything from the claim. I have a similar story in my family that my Grandmother's Grandfather was married to a native American Indian. Could I make a similar claim, possibly but who knows.
The Indian talk is funny but again she gained nothing from it. The talk is just a distraction.

If she didn't its not for the lack of trying.

why else would Fauxcahontas claim to be American Indian?

If that is your goal you're doing it wrong. You sound like a cantankerous crack pot.

Shame can be a powerful motivator. I forget the Republicans apparently have little to no sense of it.

Therefore, Trump, obviously, because he's completely shameless as all great charlatans need to be. He preys on people's hopes, dreams & trust in everything he touches, always has. To think that his bid for the presidency is any different is extremely naive.

Calling us naive isn't going to convince us we're wrong. I suggest a different approach.
