OP, please watch this, straight from the Farmer and his wife in question, and then please man up and admit that you took the smear bait in ignorance of the actual facts, and edit your OP to reflect the FULL TRUTH here.
#1. How do we know this is who she was talking about?
#2. Even if it is him, he didn't know what her "full meausre" of help was. All he knows is that he saved his farm. More likely due to bankruptcy laws then anything Shirley Sherrod did. She quite possibly could have made it much easier for him except for her desire to have "his own kind" help him.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, who fired Sherrod, said today that he stands by his decision. The White House says it supports him. The NAACP reversed its condemnation of Sherrod and urged Vilsack to reconsider his decision. We'll find out in the coming days if he decides to.
I doubt if there is ever going to be full trust between the races, especially when one race has an organization that seems intent to play off "guilt" they believe the white people should have.
