imho,
Personally desire both AMD and nVidia to work with developers and go beyond the console experience; to bring pc centric features for their customers to differentiate.
After all AMD and nVidia are competitors and trying to offer their visions, which may differ at times, to their PC customers. Personally embrace the differing sides -- translates into companies trying and competing.
Without the work and investments from AMD and nVidia -- PC gaming would be a lot more mundane and irrelevant from an innovation point-of-view.
Competition is always good however some people try to turn it into a flame war between Nvidia and AMD(especially the kiddies),personally I use both ie sitting here with two Nvidia PCs and two AMD PCs video card wise.
Some things run better with AMD and vice versa with Nvidia ,end of the day its YOUR choice and you should be thanking yourselves we still have some choice nowadays, remember the old days when we had more choice ie 3DFX,Matrox etc, nowadays it's really only a two horse race.
Getting back to DA:I, I'm sure both AMD and Nvidia will improve performance with better drivers down the road,AMD users obviously have the choice between DX API and Mantle and so far Mantle looks pretty good.
I'm actually more interested in bug issues with DA:I but then that's a different forum.
