Everything getting pounded again today. Down 200 pts. We were down 400 yesterday, with a late day recovery to get since of that back.
.

If the market recovers 600 points tomorrow Trump supporters would talk about how much we're winning.

My winning started November 9th 2016 and has just been getting better and better every day so far.

Your mileage may vary.

Well that's not true at all and unless you have some foresight you probably lost a boatload the past week or so... Not so much winning...

As of Trump's first year in office, the Dow rose from 19,827.3 to 25,075.1 -- an increase of 26 percent. Impressive...
Not as impressive as its performance during the equivalent period under Obama. Under Obama, the Dow increased from 7,949.1 to 10,572 — a rise of 33 percent.

Under Obama the stock market rose 149%. That's not up for debate. It's a fact. The stock market would have to rise from 19,827 to 49,500 for Trump to have a 149% increase. Not going to happen and from the looks of it not any time soon....

I hope you sold and took your profits a few weeks ago like I did... I'll be buying back in soon... not just yet though...

Wow, worst Dow month in 8 years. Big tax cuts and deficit fueled spending and looks like it's petered out. Time for more tax cuts....and entitlement cuts.....and a new lower interest rate type of Fed Chairmain......(signed: Cheeto-Von-Tweeto).

While I wouldn’t want to bet too much on the short term fluctuations of the stock market this sort of thing is exactly what was predicted. The primary reason why fiscal stimulus is a bad idea in a strong economy is the crowding out of private investment. Large deficits at full employment raise inflation. This causes the Fed to increase interest rates, making private borrowing more expensive and government bonds more attractive. More expensive borrowing makes housing more expensive and investment more expensive so both decline and more attractive bonds take money out of investment in stocks.

I don’t know what that means for any particular stock movement on any given day but that’s broadly the trend we are likely to see and yet another reason why that tax cut was a really stupid idea.

If only cheeto had hired a Fed Chairman that wanted to keep low interest rates (LOLOLOL). /s

Don't forget, rising interest rates explodes the deficit (and future deficits) and lower interest government debt is rolled over to higher interest debt.

So much winning.

Looking forward to "DOW up 500 points!" tweets from Trump today after he ruined earnings for every company with his idiotic tariffs.

It really has, here's a compilation of Trump's lies by week. While it's always at an incredibly high level in the last 5-6 months it's gone into the stratosphere. The blizzard of lies coming out of the White House is absolutely incredible.

It’s gotten to the point now when Trump says or tweets anything the MSM always adds “without evidence”.
