NO, studies have shown *IMMIGRANTS* commit crimes at lower levels. There is no nationwide tracking of *ILLEGAL* data and a lot of sanctuary cities don't track the data.


The one study I linked to in another thread shows that, on average, *ILLEGALS* make up more of the criminal population as a % of their own population, ~4.3% compared to 3.7% for the general population. Furthermore, once you strip out african american gang members and druggies, that % differential is even larger.

I don't think he's stupid. He's just the most ego-maniacal billionaire I've ever seen. Most billionaires don't want the general public to know their identities, or at lest they don't go out of their way to publicize their identities and their great wealth.
 
Here's the real question... If you had to choose between Trump and Perot for president about 12 years ago, which would have you picked?
 
It's refreshing to see an honest candidate who doesn't change their stance to pander to a demographic. First candidate like that since that silly actor in the 80's who had no chance to become president. Unwind your panties libs, have a feeling it's going to be a long road ahead

If it were not for the collective effort of all banks and parties involved in that 1990 deal, Trump&#8217;s business would have gone bankrupt and failed.

Trump, like any other conservative out there, bitches and moanes about a $1.35 peanut butter sandwich in a public school, but freely gulps down millions of dollars in government funds for himself and others like him.

No conservative has ANY issue with an entity that controls people's lives - they have a problem when that entity looks into and controls their own lives (even when within their standards), and possibly allows someone not like themselves (poor and/or middle class) into the driver's seat of this entity.

He has gamed the system, for the benefit of himself and others like him. EDIT: And, he wants to make sure no one else can take that away.

Ya gotta love Liberals. First they attack his father for building homes under the FHA, a program that has supported tens of millions of people, then they attack him for risking too much and then having to utilize bankruptcy, just like tens of millions of people. Love the programs, hate the users (if they have money).

Has he ever said people didn't deserve some help? Has he ever denied that America helps people succeed? Has he ever said we need to shrink the government by eliminating social programs, like a Libertopian?

And you guys say others are racist. You call him a "typical conservative hypocrite" but fail to examine whether he has said any of those things. You just judge him by party affiliation, regardless of nuances, and pigeonhole him anywhere that you find convenient to your agenda. Why? Because you don't want to acknowledge that what he is saying, pretty much everything he is saying, is true.

You don't seriously want him to last long in the Republican primary, do you? His honest opinions and stances are offending portions of the electorate (the Latino vote) and he comes off as being an overbearing pompous buffoon. His presence is damaging the Republican Party's image with the electorate, IMHO.

Where has he said nobody can use those same programs? Has he bashed the FHA for providing subsidized loans? Or the US Bankrupty code for anybody needing bankruptcy relief? Has he bashed major social programs?

To be completely practical, I don't think it matters that he's pissed off an entire voting block since Latinos weren't going to vote republican anyway. Jeb can give all of his speeches in english and espaniol and it's not going to matter.

But a lot of people on the right aren't happy with any of the amnesty/path to citizenship stuff so by completely alienating one group which he would have lost anyway, he gets some street cred with a much larger group.

If I'd thought he'd done this deliberately I'd call him a genius. But sometimes even dickwads can land on their feet - in spite of themselves.

The point was he fucked his business empire and he was never a serious candidate to begin with so any bump in political brownie points is meaningless to him.

Is that really true though? I mean sure, he's about as close to being a media pariah now w/o having people with pitchforks and torches coming after you. But what has he really lost? Celebrity Apprentice? Some hotel bookings? I don't know for a fact that this has really cost him that much.

Isn't he primarily a real estate developer? I don't think what he said really surprised anyone that knows him or with whom he does business. And the only people who are likely to care are public companies like broadcasters who have to worry about advertisers.
