  • Although I cannot speak for lopped, since him and I share similar names I will try my best: If mcowned wants lopped to stop calling him out on lies, he need simply stop lying. It really is that simple. A two step process: 1) Don't tell a lie, 2) lopped won't quote your lie and prove with a link how it is a lie
  • Mcowned has a storied history of calling people who accuse him of lying liars, even if they have proof of his lie--even if the proof of his lie was in the very link he provided in the post in which he lied (this has happened many times)
  • The vast majority of posts lopped responds to mcowned are in P&N. The vast majority of those are in the gas thread, in which lopped has documented literally dozens of obvious lies. Main reason being they're so easy to do and take no effort. Conclusion: lopped's "stalking" is nothing more than mcowned being called out on lies.. Essentially, he is asking the moderators to be given free reign on lying and not having people call him out on them. The moderators have obviously denied this request and thus his fury grows.
  • Again, I really cannot speak for lopped, but as I feel a certain connection with him, I'll go out on a limb and say that he has never so much as attempted to contact mcowned outside of AT. Further, he has never posted even an inkling of private information about mcowned not known by all on such sites as freemcowen.com. All evidence of this is viewable by thousands on the public AT forums.
  • I have seen no examples in which lopped has made up "personal lies" about mcowen's wife. That's not to say there are not 1-2 posts (there may be, I have no idea, but will assume not unless they're posted (?)) in which surprise was expressed that somebody is married to him.
  • Mcowned cannot be convinced of anything by anybody and thus I wrote the above for others in this thread, not for him. In my estimation his problems go far beyond this thread or AT in general, and looking for solutions to them here is a dead end.

Oh, and back to the thread title. Cyberstalking. With more surveillance of our lives and more information digitized and indexed it is surely getting easier for cyberstalkers. Many people voluntarily make it easy, too; look at all the things people share on Facebook, for example?

How was he caught? You insinuate that he's stalking you yet you only reference a single thread to this effect. You insinuate that he has multiple accounts but you don't give any evidence of this. You insinuate that the Mods are in on this and/or facillitating the behavior but you don't give any evidence. All you are giving here is a bunch of baseless accusations.

Hell, you are also claiming that people are insulting your wife yet I haven't seen direct evidence of this (outside of the fact that you claim that your wife agrees with your views and that somehow disagreeing with your statements on the forums implies that we are calling your wife a liar).

My posts are far and away a lighter tone than your as far as negativity goes. Also, I don't resort to personal attacks unless I have been attacked personally first and even then its rare. I attack people on their message and don't go around insulting them. If they say something dumb I call them on it but I don't just flat out flame people because I have no idea who they are and only have what they say to go off of. You, on the other had, just like it the post I bolded go off for no reason at all. I'm not saying I'm a saint but when I have gone to the gutter, it was because someone took it their first.

Plus, I'm not the one here comforting another member and trying to play the victim. There have been plenty of time that I have stooped down and flung shit and then had it flung right back at me. I don't complain and cry victim when I opened the door to that. I do however call people out when they just go off without any provocation.

If I say someone is saying something stupid, fine if they wan't to call me stupid or say that I say stupid things (even if I'm not calling them stupid, just their message). If I call someone out for what they are saying while being civil and get "For the record, you can be the first Right Wing fucking douchebag in here who can kiss my fucking ass...." in return, well that's taking it a bit too far.

OK, so essentially confirming that you created a thread accusing somebody of stalking and when challenged for proof, all of which would be on a single forum with a readily available search engine, you could not provide it.

Shortly a moderator will move and/or lock this thread and chalk it up to another ludicrously insane claim of yours. And by God they are patient with your childish antics, so very patient. I hope they are checking the mail for another court order (http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=257206&highlight=). At times I want to feel sorry for you, because you so clearly display serious problems that require professional assistance, but your posts end up being so repugnant it's just very hard to be sympathetic.

While I am not a mod myself and Londo does not appear to be one either, your posting history is some of the most negative on here. You're acting like a paranoid schizophrenic. And I do not make or enforce rules on these forums, I've been on here for a good amount of time. I've seen you get worse over the years posting on these forums. I've seen the personal attacks and playing victim get worse. And while politically it would appear that some of your views fall near mine, I have no problems calling out someone who has gone off the deep end. The sheer volume of posts you've made throughout this thread that appear to violate forum rules would lead anyone, mod or not, to believe you are cruising close to a ban.

I won't lie though that I've never particularly liked you ever since your legal troubles with a county that I've paid taxes to and consider you in the wrong in regards to.

To some extent the burden of proof is also on others to prove dmcowen674 is wrong.

As history shows, the Catholic church was able to muzzle Galileo under the threat of burning at the stake, but history shows who won in the end.
