<< Do I ask you to hold YOUR breath when you walk by me? >>

If you smell bad because you haven't showered in 3 weeks should I tell you to either stand 50 feet from me or take a shower?

You're doing someing (smoking) that you choose to do. Accept the consequences of your actions. Just because you are now not as healthy as you were previous doesn't give you the right to attack the health of other citizens. While you're at it, why don't you go steal an inhaler from an asthmatic?

Like I said...there is another door. If you are so healthy, walk the extra 20 feet to it. 2 seconds will not kill you either.

Speaking of asthmatics, I am one. I am also allergic to cigarette smoke, as are many people I know.

YOU are the one endangering and inconveniencing other people. If you can't handle the consequences of your poor judgement in taking up smoking, quit. If you don't have the willpower to quit, you can sure as hell stay 50 feet away from me.

I'm doing something legal that I have the right to do. I am NOT endangering anyone. I should not be inconvenienced because of some whiney a$$ed bastages who don't like the way something smells.

And FYI, its not just he way cigarette smoke smells, it is physically damaging to my health to inhale it. It is the equivilant of spiking a diabetic's drink with copious amounts of sugar. There are some things you just shouldn't morally do. Endangering the health of other people for your own 10 minute high is one of them.
Just because smoking is legal changes nothing about the facts of its degratory effects upon the health of anyone near it. Nor does it change the moral responsibilities of those who choose to partake in the pointless endevor of smoking.

Do you drink and drive by any chance?

Do you drink Steeler, by any chance?

Ahhh... I can just picture it all now...

Old Caddy, Mesh hat, "Mullet", case of Steeler on the front seat, no exhaust...

No. I prefer less quality...like moosehead.

Actually I drive a 93 Cougar, don't have a mullet, and drink Guiness.

8ball: You still haven't come up with a rebuttal to my comments. Could it be because you have no logical way of fighting facts?

Also, are you trying to tell me that you would gladly take a newborn child, and smoke while cradling it, simply because it can't complain about the smell? And don't tell me that it would cry. I'm sure if it was in your arms, it would already be doing that.

Although, I have to say you must be a pretty damn cool person with a sig like that. Any clue where I can find a shirt with 'fear the mullet' on it? Other than mulletsgalore of course.

8ball,

Good times brotha. Just pulling your chain around.

Do you want to go for a pint of Guiness, then to McDonalds, then have smoke break outside, then smoke some more in front of the Cancer Society office?

What facts have you presented? The facts are that it is OUTSIDE!!, and two seconds of second hand smoke will not hurt anyone. This building has been here for years. Are people just now figuring out that smoking is bad? Or is there just some whiner who doesn't like smoking. I suppose you don't see anything wrong with the tobacco lawsuits?

Actually I thought we'd go sit in a hut and smell burning propane while we ice fish and drink moose milk. Then we can eat some Canadian Bacon and watch Strange Brew.

None other need be presented. People's health isn't something to be shrugged off nonchalantly, and is definetly not something that should be sacraficed for the personal gratification, and self-degredation of a single person. Once again, this is a situation where the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Too bad smoking isn't a need, and but a filthy sport which has absolutly no appeal to anyone in the first place. Why did you start smoking?

C:\DOS
C:\DOS\Run
Run, DOS, Run!

But, I didn`t see DOS run?
