Speaking of geography, one of my favorite trivia questions is:
What other country could have went by the initials "U.S.A."?
Us?
We have multilpe states that form a federation.

Ignorance: The great American past time.
Heh, i'm going to let you in on a little secret here... Us Englismen refer to the US as our former but lesser colony. 😉
Who has saved your ass twice now. Whatever helps you sleep at night 😉
Really? Look, I love history (BA/MA in Comparative European History), but I wouldn't call not knowing the difference between GB, England, and the UK ignorance, at least not in the snarky condescending way you're trying to use it.
You know it because you're from Australia, making it much more relevant to your day-to-day life than most American lives, who hear the terms used interchangeably nearly every day. How can you blame them? And how can banter around claiming ignorance when most Americans can dig up facts about their country that you wouldn't know. Is that ignorant, too?
learned something new and i have to say, the whole thing sounds fucked up.
Us?

Saw this yesterday, but If I had posted it all the morons would crawl out of the woodwork and complain
I think you need to look up ignorance in the dictionary.Really? Look, I love history (BA/MA in Comparative European History), but I wouldn't call not knowing the difference between GB, England, and the UK ignorance, at least not in the snarky condescending way you're trying to use it.

Our fellow English speaking countries like to bag on us, as some sort of inferiority complex.
The US is like the popular kid in school. The lesser students all know who he is and who he is dating, but he couldnt give a shit who they are.
That is why we get bagged on by countries that know everything about us and our culture, but nobody here cares who they are.
But when it comes down to it, we all have each other's back, so it is more like brotherly bickering.
