No, i've never wondered, i didn't watch the video, but i am going to assume it didn't cover the commonwealth, that is next for those who don't get it.

[EDIT] i see they covered the commonwealth as well, my bad [/EDIT]

Speaking of this, how many Americans knows that it's the United states of Mexico rather than just Mexico?

United Mexican States or Estados Unidos Mexicanos

Americans are not taught the intricacies of the brittish political and geographical system in school. We are only taught about how we beat their red little heinies back across the pond.

Ah, so you just study French history then? 😉

In reality, everyone should know this, it's not hard to learn and even less hard to remember and a LOT of it has to do with American-French-Canadian-British-Spanish history that you would do well to know to even begin to fathom how your own nation was actually formed, of course, most Americans have no clue about that either, mostly because the stories were changed as time passed to indent a sense of ultranationalism among Americans and believe you me, it worked better than you could possibly wish for.

Saw this yesterday, but If I had posted it all the morons would crawl out of the woodwork and complain

So...that just proves that in spite of your numerous protestations, you ARE British...you just happen to also be English...😛

While I think MOST of that is common knowledge, it was still very well presented. (although a bit fast)

So even the dumb people that live there don't even know what they are.

What fucks people up the most is that the UK and Britain isn't the same thing, well that and the Islands and which are English and British and which belong to the UK and Britain while not to England..

Trust me, there are English schoolchildren that struggle with this knowledge every day.

Speaking of geography, one of my favorite trivia questions is:

What other country could have went by the initials "U.S.A."?
