didnt call girlfriend on one year anniversary...

friday we get into a small fight because i didnt drive her to the gucci store like she asked me to. i had made plans to leave friday afternoon to drive to vermont for snowboarding and driving her to gucci was out of the way. our anniversary is saturday and i spent the weekend snowboarding with my friends. she said it was ok for me to go anyways because she had a very important presentation to finish and we couldnt celebrate until after wednesday dec 1.

i didnt call her on saturday because of the fight the previous day. my phone was nearly out of batteries the whole weekend and i didnt have my charger so i turned it off most of the weekend. i sort of expected her to call and leave a voicemail, but she never did. so i call her sunday and she says to me shes very pissed that i didnt call on saturday (our anniversary). i explained to her that she sort of built a wall of anger from friday's incident and i didnt want to call on saturday. i wouldve called her on saturday if she left a voicemail on my phone cause it would have meant that she didnt have that wall of anger anymore. but she never left a message so i assumed she was still pissed.

so basically i told her i didnt call her saturday because i didnt want any lip about friday's fight. now shes very angry that i didnt call saturday and i want to make it up to her some how.

what should i do?

Young people creat anniversaries for everything. They probably have one for the first time they ate a McDonalds together :)

I am lucky, because my wife forgot several of our anniversaries, so I have three get out of jail free cards :)

Tell her you didn't go snowboarding, you were busy banging a few of the local girls at the resort and that you didn't have much time in between sessions to call. That should make everything better :beer:

I don't even know when 1 year will come up, but luckily it's also a friends birthday, so I can ask the friend when her B-day is, and I will have the date, thankfully.

Women are always stressy, get used to it, apologise, buy some roses, let her choose some nice clothes for herself.
Be done. Have make-up sex.
