Did anyone play D3 beta?(I obviously didnt) In Diablo2, you could create multiple accounts to mule items etc, which was kind of essential to the game. Does anyone know if D3 is like this? Can you make multiple accounts or is it like tied to the battle.net account now and you get 1 account? Just trying to figure out if I need to worry about reserving account names early and how muleing multiple items to save will work here...

you have 10 character slots per account and I'm pretty sure you'll need to make another battle.net account + Diablo 3 copy if you want another 10 character slots

Oh is it? Yeah, that was a huge problem in D2 and anyone who played D2 for a long time knows what I am talking about.

I used to have literally 10-15 accounts for D2 filled with 8 characters each to hold items. I am sure they were trying to combat that issue.

Now, if D3 is not like that, things could get interesting as any item hunt grind game like Diablo, you need tons of mules to hold items. If they really force me to have to purchase multiple copies of the game to mule stuff, I definitely cant do that at the $60 price tag lol... So it looks like Ill have to focus on having 1 or 2 mains and use 8 for mules.... : /

This type of game, its really difficult to mule items without multiple accounts...

Hrm I bought the digital version from Blizzard and it's asking me for an activation key. Hopefully I won't need one >_>

Was planning to just jump into the game fresh faced and fancy free but maybe I should study up on some strat guides...any good starter guides or anything out there to get a little more up to speed with the gameplay/features?

I got the same activation notice but right when you buy the game from blizzard it's automatically activated with your bnet account

D3 characters do have more inventory space than D2 characters

I also think the shared stash will also be a gold sink where you can buy more inventory slots. I'm not sure how big the shared stash can get to

bought off blizzard. Pre-installed. Won't launch client. Crashes right after I hit the play button. WTF? I did the beta for this game too. Made sure to uninstall that client before this one.

Well I managed to log in right at 3:01AM but I keep getting "The request has timed out. (Error 3006) when creating a character.

Not even getting that far GoStumpy. Same thing it's been doing all night. From launcher I click Play button. I get the little diablo skull splash art for loading, and then crash with a white screen. No error code. Just crash with a long ass hash string in the box listed as the ReportID.

My character name should be Error37 ; ) Too bad they dont allow numbers. I got to character selection screen after about 100 login attempts.

As you can see, there are tons of people trying to get in.

Its just the login servers that are having issues and it actually stated there were issues long before the game opened up so....
