This will be my first time playing a diablo game. Anyone gonna Coop this on the first playthrough?

I haven't played any Diablo for a decade so I plan on soloing my first playthrough with a monk to learn the game then go for coop on my subsequent playthroughs.
I like to solo normally at the start. I have a friend that is coming over tonight that has the day off tomorrow also, plus my roomate is going to play. So i imagine we will be playing coop. The drop in and out system is nice for people on yours friends list though.

That's funny as hell - you can get the game at Midnight at some retail stores, but, here if EST, you still can't actually play the game until 3am. lol

What say y'all: pick it up in retail box, or pay the full retail price for digital order from Blizzard?
Not finding any deals.
Already have the installer downloaded, just don't know if it'll be worthwhile to have a physical copy of the package, or simply do everything digital.

Cheapest method always keeps me happy. For me it was the difference between $15 or 10-15 hours. I chose to wait an extra 10-15 hours

Yup, got the same email today. I expect it tomorrow as well. They had a $10 off promo for pre-order so I jumped. I was massively addicted to DII & it's sequel.
I hope this meets that level of play.

I am going to play Demon Hunter to start.
Upgraded last week to a EVGA SC GTX 670, Crucial M4 256 SSD, and a Achieva Shimian QH270-lite 2560x1440 27" monitor (won't be here till the end of the week).
Overkill for the game but can't wait to see it with the new monitor at that reso, same with Tera.
Have vacation time off for tue and wed.

Barbarian for me, MALE Barbarian, RAWR! Then, I'll try Demon Hunter. I'll actually create a character of each classes right away, but I will start playing with my Barb. As for you having vacation time, I'm jealous. The only "vacation" I can afford lately is forcing myself through sleepless nights, which is exactly what I'm going to do tonight. For tonight I dine in hell!
I normally always play a Barbarian type, i figured i would switch it up a bit at the start. Duel wielding crossbows seems pretty cool. I am going to make a Barb for sure though.
Because of you all, damn you for that, I just prepurchased the game.
Downloading at the moment at a nice speed of 1.92mb/s.
And because of you i'll suffer from sleep deprevation for the coming months.

it looks great from what I can see! I regret not getting the CE.
Amazon didn't even ship mine until this morning. I was kind of hoping to have the number attached and an extra cd key to give to my friend before launch, oh well.
I reserved 2 collector editions from Gamestop back in Oct. I flipped one already for $200 and keeping the other. I don't feel bad at all, it just all goes to the PC fund anyways.
My Newegg order has shipped, but the tracking hasn't updated yet. It says UPS 3-day. I wish they would clarify whether the starter edition will be playable or not for those of us that have it on our accounts already. On the blizzard info, it says you need a buddy key to get the starter edition, otherwise you have to wait 30 days after release, however, I already have the starter edition on my account.
Is there a decent reliable store to pre-order a digital copy from that doesnt have CA sales tax so I can get it at midnight?
