Yeah the guy has some issues, I forgot exactly what they were. However it is a sweet picture regardless, he is proud and happy for his Dad.

Dude keeps ranting that he didn’t get a tax rebate in MN but can’t articulate what specifically he dislikes about how the legislature decided to spend the money. Just wanted a rebate.

He's able to explain himself directly, honestly and until last night had never used a teleprompter in his life (well, he practiced after explaining that to Harris and the team). Check this post for why I think Walz was the right choice, in particular watch the short video in the post I quoted:

But if I wasn't already set that way.. common sense says after a year of saying “Genocide Joe” and “Killer Kamala,” what on earth makes you think the Democrats are going to give them a platform?
 
After seeing that they allowed two Israelis to speak at the DNC really getting into the hostage situation, I think they should let that woman say that speech. It's an endorsement of Harris and a repudiation of Trump
 
I hope for their sake that Trump doesn't win. A woman and muslim in Trump's second term? Good luck with that.

On the lighter side, there's a surprise "mystery guest" slot tonight and everyone's having a bit of fun guessing who it might be on forums/reddit. Looks like it is probably Beyoncé as 1) there's a clip of the band practicing her songs and 2) someone from the DNC tweeted a bee emoji. And of course Harris has been using her song as a walkout.

Giving one faction a platform and withholding it from the other isn’t a good look. Not very democratic…
 
I really wonder who the special guest is there's no point in hyping it up if it's not tippity top but that often happens.

Trying to keep my expectations low but it's hard.
 
Why don't they parade Dick Cheney and W. out at this convention to make it even harder for Beyonce to follow up?

I believe people have connected some dots, and it's Beyonce or Taylor Swift. Could 🤯 some folks if they both come out together.

Meh, I like Kinzinger but he's already got it wrong. The Democrats are way more patriotic than MAGAts.
