Hmm, my order still says in Pre Production. Seems like I should be able to cancel order, then place another order at the lower price, right? I haven't cancelled an order from them before - is that a problem?

My current order is $799 - 25% Delf coupon = $599.25 - $25 off = $574.25 + 5% tax = 602.96 delivered

An order today would be $719.10 - 25% Delf coupon = $539.33 - $30 off = $509.33 + 5% tax = 534.79 delivered

I dont know if I did it wrong but I couldn't get the 25% off to work with the new price (10% off)

OIC - if you use 25% delf coupon, the 10% off goes away. The total would be $597.71 - gee a savings of $5.25. Eff 'em, I'm going to cancel and get my $5.25 discount by reordering LOL

However, when you look at the 10% details, it says "May be combined with other select offers or discounts" which indicates it can be used with the Delf coupon

I am waiting for some good stackable to come along to use with a 25%...in the mean time my 2001fp still has 2.5 weeks until its estimated delivery so I dont want to cancel yet as no matter how hard I try I can't get another 25% dellf coupon...

Now, for the 25% delf code, it says "May not be combinable with dollars off, percentages off or select other promotions. Not combinable with "Deals of the Week" or "Outrageous Deals". "

So, the 10% off monitors is under the Special Offer heading, not a deal of the Week or Outrageous Deal header, however, it obviously is a "percentages off" deal. So, it's either take the 10% deal or use the 25% Delf code

mlk3454 - so, nope, couldn't get it to work. But as I said before, fw has those codes - real easy to get if you monitor it for new ones -- oops, I just saw that you were there begging. OK, I have an extra one you can try. I have sent you a msg with it.

Dell Home seems to collect tax from NJ also.

So that makes 2 of us Canucks who want one. Any generous Americans out there wanna help a few northerners out? I'm sure we could make it worth your while.

I have been searching over there. I have seen some people trying to sell them, none that are giving them away. I just find it hard to pay for something that someone else gets for free.

Since I am in no hurry maybe I'll get lucky and find one that i don;t have to pay for.

BTW I did get a 20% off Axim X30 624MHz or any Axim X50 if anyone wants it.

maybe, maybe not YMMV. I tried calling once about a similiar situation and they said they don't deal with coupons, i had to cancel and reorder.

Trying to decide between the 2005/2001FP and an LCD TV.

For around $900 (or less, I've seen it as low as $750) I can get a 27" LCD TV that does 1280x720.

http://shop4.outpost.com/product/4090002

Primarily want this monitor for games and watching movies. It seems the LCD TVs are fast and bright and BIG. Also may do some light word processing or web browsing but I have a 19" LCD I'll be running dual monitor for most of that stuff.

I actually like that the LCD have a lower resolution, makes big easy to see text for things like instant messaging. Or decent size low quality video without trying to scale too much. Personally I would prefer something like the 2001FP in 1280x1024. It sucks that I would be going up in monitor size but down in text size when going from my 19" LCD to the 2001FP.

Any other concerns I should be aware of when deciding between the 2005/2001FP and a LCD TV?
