Well, I just went through with it. I really hope it doesn't have ANY dead pixles.

How long before Dell emails the confirmation info? I know the ship times vary but I was hoping I owuld get lucky and it would go soon.
How about the warranty? Is it 1 yr?

Guys, I just got my 2005FP in the mail today and I think I am in love.

The only problem is that I cant get my computer to display the native resolution on this thing. Is it b/c my video card is too old or is there something I can do to to adjust the resolution?

Did the monitor arrive with a setup disk/CD? Usually, these include .inf files to allow the correct resolutions. Also, a video driver update may be required.

For those who have the 2005FP can you guys get the PIP to work with DVI and D-SUB? For example I viewing the DVI mode and want to turn on the PIP fucntion and use the PIP window to view what is on the D-SUB. I can't get it to work when I turn on PIP it only let me chose s-video or composite.

Does anyone know of a good carrying bag for the 2001FP LCD? The xBags LCDTSS Large should work, but it's on backorder, and I can't find anything similar.
Very nice LCD though,

the E173FP and E153FP have both been slashed in price. on wendsay when i ordered my E173FP, it was 299, dropped from 369. its now 269. apply one of those 25% off coupons, and it goes down to 225 before tax and shipping. the deal just got that much sweeter. this price isnt gonna last very long i dont think, so hop on it quick

Just ordered a 2005FPW for $588 shipped!!! I'm excited, hopefully no dead pixels or backlight issues!

Anyone interested in a 2001FP with 8 stuck pixels and 2 dead ones?
