Man, I'm glad I ordered one yesterday! Funny thing, I just clicked on the link and got a pop-up that said it was "Almost out" but still available for $35 shipped. I closed the windows, clicked again and didn't get the pop-up?! wth?

It was weird, the first time I clicked on the link it showed it at $59.95, so I thought it was dead. Then I come back to this thread and see the above post. I try again and it's back down to $34.95. Not hesitating I purchased it, but was not able to get free shipping(tried twice). Oh well.. good deal either way!! Can't wait for it to arrive!!

so i can use normal non-rechargable aa batteries with the mouse?

yeah, but they'll get drained pretty quickly and will have to replace them.
Actually, I never got the Energizer Bunny to work in the one I tried.

I'm guessing that Logitech had a bunch of sets like the last one I got that the batteries wouldn't hold a charge.

It cured itself before I got a chance to RMA it. I was out of town and left the mouse in the charging cradle for a week and - lo & behold, It was fixed 😀😀😀

This pair is really the dynamic duo of input peripherals.

One of the good things about OSTK is they make information readily available:

"What is our return policy?
Most closeout and deep-discount retailers have an "all sales are final" approach to customer returns. At Overstock.com, we offer you the option of returning items that don't meet your needs. Here is our return policy:

You can return most items sold by Overstock.com within 20 days from the ship date.

To qualify, simply initiate the return within 20 days from the ship date and ensure that the item is in its original condition (including: packaging, manuals, warranties, accessories, security seals, etc., and shrink wrap for Book, Music, and Video products). We must receive your item back within 30 days of when we originally shipped it to you. Please allow us 14 days from the time we receive your item to process your return.

Your refund will be the purchase price of the item, less the original shipping fee and less a restocking fee of $4.95 per-item OR 15% (instead of the $4.95 per-item fee) if the item is from our Electronic and Computer category. Customers who paid for their item with PayPal will receive their refund as an Overstock.com in-store credit. "

I picked up one last night while they were in stock. I currently own an MX Duo, and want one for a spare in case this set breaks or is damaged (had a water spill last week, but the keyboard is luckily OK). I love my MX700 mouse - the mouse in the new Logitech keyboard/mouse combos simply does not compare, from what I've heard. I'd hate to have to purchase an MX1000 to replace the MX700, should it break.

Thanks, OP.

Using the MX Duo to type this and order a second backup set.

BACK IN STOCK for $34.95 + 1 for shipping.

thanks!
