Awhile back Moonbeam and I use to sit by the TV and watch 'The MOD Squad' - two guys and a girl who always seemed to get the bad guy..... nothing has changed... but, the actors..
But, then Ma made Moonbeam do the dishes and so he missed out on the action.. Linc was kool but the point is 'Good guys always win on TV'.

I post as usual but, I try to simply engage in one of the many threads on a subject that seems to provide the most interest for me.. 😀 With so many intellectuals posting, finding one that exists on my meek level is a challenge in itself..

Things being what they are I've stitched over to the Chimp test now. Ducks were OK back when things wer ducky. Now Bush Baby has us swirling round the toilet bowl and about to go under for the third time.
 
There is quite a difference between Duck poop and Chimp poop... I suppose it is due to what it is that gets consumed.

Instead of "If it quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck, and looks like a duck... it must be a duck" it has become "If it smells like chimp, thinks like a chimp, and behaves like a chimp... it must be a ..." 😀

Yeah "probably Kerry" is a popular choice of color in this year's swim suit contest. To my eyes at least the popular models look pretty much the same in their bikini tops and bottoms but the swim suit chosen by one of them shrinks a lot when wet and thus it must be avoided because *nobody* deserves a gaze at that much hair. That is unless they design the flaw out of that model in the next few months. 🙂
 
Politics and Religion...just don't post about them because people throw sense out the window and it always, ALWAYS turns into a pissing match. Simple as that.

Does your quote really depend on the context? I was making arguments and instead of rebuting me you claimed "spin" in a childish display. And anyone who follows the link will see you enter with a condescending eye roll. That is not exaclty a serious way to discuss.

One must make a decision to engage in the contest, therefore it is avoidable. There is precedent on this forum that the decision to avoid the contest is much more effective than engaging in the contest.
