Non of you, save Netopia, have presented anything new since about the 2nd or 3rd page. Netopia made a good analogy, it was one that I have seen nearly word for word. It still isn't in the same boat as smoking. Unless I guess you had an addiction to your cologne and spraying it.
NFS4 I can pull up hundreds of similar links about the hazards of car pollution and their direct result on humans and the environment.
Are you trying to prove that second hand smoke is unhealthy? I think at this point it's all common sense.
Also, posting links from a slew of anti-smoking private organizations really doesn't say much for the objectiveness of the data presented.
On top of the sources you sited, only one article is newer than 1996. That "article" is one of thoes "facts" sheets they hand out, or have sitting out in libraries. You know the ones, primarily aimed at marijuana. Loaded with "facts"
.
I would think that you would respond to at least one of my posts.
I've read every single post in this thread and to say most of you argue like uneducated children, is an understatement.
The main argument here is "You smokers don't think about the other person and their health when you light up".
Wait, so, smokers are all apathetic assholes who go around killing people in the wake of their own enjoyment right?
So, if you compare that to say, the products you buy everyday. I would say that you don't NEED about 85% of what your fat ass american family owns. No matter how "green" you think you are, you arn't. In fact, you arn't even CLOSE.
Let's see what we have here.... Sneakers! The people who makes thoes are put in extreme danger everyday at their work place, for roughly 16 hours a day. I suppose I could name a bunch of industries with similar conditions, but I think you should be able to get the point.
Thing is, as an American, you are probably in THE most apathetic nation in the world. Yet, you think something like smoking is such a horrible injustice to others around it.
