Pretty sad huh? You'd think we'd have more important things to worry about in this country. Then again, we are the same idiots who seem to find reality TV amusing so what do you expect I guess.

Nothing like an anti-smoking zealot. Someone who won't stop crying until the freedom of another person has been abolished.

As a note, Fayetteville AK was/is (I don't know what's going on there now) trying to ban smoking in restaraunts, bars, etc. Every business I was in down there hated the idea and was lobbying against it.

I assume you mean Fayetteville, AR? (AK = Alaska; AR = Arkansas). I live in Fay, AR, and that was a big deal here... still is. No public vote or anything. The city council just decided to do it. @ssholes. Last I heard there were petitions circulating to bring it to a vote. FYI, I am not a smoker, but banning smoking in places like bars is fvcking ridiculous. If you don't want to breathe the smoke then you have to right to vote with your wallet and not go there. It should be up to the individual proprietors to decide if their place of business will allow smoking.

I just tell him he needs to buy me another one, I expect it back in the same condition I lent it to him.

He's been really good about doing so, I guess it's his kid that get's ahold of them and tears them up.

Ban kids I say! :)

I had to jump to the end of the thread because I was getting pissed reading the threads from you immature, freedom robbing, SOBs. :|

#1: Most smokers WOULDN'T be so inconsiderate if you morons didn't treat them like lepers.
#2: I haven't smoked in my house in 12 years. I *do* care about my family.
#3: I don't smoke in restaurants. Even in Vegas. Heck, I don't like the smell of smoke when I'm eating, why would I do it to someone else?
#4: I *am* friggin considerate. If I'm outside somewhere smoking, I move downwind when someone walks by.
#5: I don't stink except for a few minutes immediately after smoking. Why? Smoke outside, wash hands, put on cologne. There are people at work who after 6 months still don't know I smoke, even though we sit across from each other. One girl was completely surprised yesterday when I said I was going outside for a cigarette.

You people are throwing your lame opinions around assuming all smokers are the same. That would be like saying every man with a lisp is gay, or every black man is an excellent basketball player. It's retarded, and insulting to all humans, smokers or not.

Get a life, and quit worrying about such a piddly thing. Is your life so boring that you have to get all upset that someone smells like smoke?

Does smoking make you mad?

I say smoke em if you got 'em, but not around kids. I hate seeing Mom's zipping up kids jackets and putting a smoke right in their faces. When I was a kid a buddy of mine's Mom actually burned his face. He was scared for life, literally and figuratively against cigarettes. If your and adult and you don't infringe on other peoples "space" then have a cigarette, smoke some crack, or do your thing.

Hey cut 'em some slack. For most in this thread it is their only chance to harp on someone because they are just timid little pasty whites who would rather walk across the street than say anything to you.!

LoL. Yeah, you're right.

I live in Cali and am sick of the health nazis here. So I tend to get upset.

I actually had a woman in bed freaking naked and was messing around, I when we got to her bed finally (we started in the family room) the covers, pillow and comforter turned my freaking stomach it was so bad....I totally got all floppy and ticked off at the same time because although I wanted her, the smoking got in the way a couple times that night already.

I should have just smothered her with a pillow instead.

I always mix those two up :p

Like the brewery there though, just wish they weren't out of half of their beers when I went there. ;)

well said, i would have to agree with you except i do think that if a guy has a lisp he is gay, i mean the instant he talks, the alarm goes off.

Ugh... I don't mind smokers... WHEN THEY'RE CONSIDERATE! *MOST* of the time they're okay, EXCEPT ON COLLEGE CAMPUS.

Okay, our campus is "supposedly" a non-smoking campus except for where designated. This is why I hate smokers:

1.) They STAND IN FRONT OF the NO SMOKING SIGNS and smoke, laughing at the people who cough (including me) as they walk by.
2.) As you walk by and cough, they all take a puff and blow it out at the same time, creating an even larger smoke cloud.
3.) Campus security doesn't give a sh|t ... the smoking rules here on campus are a joke, there's no punishment or refraction for smoking in a non-smoking area (but you get fined $12 if you park without a permit or park in staff parking, LIKE THAT'S HURTING ANYBODY!)
4.) People will literally stand 10 feet away from a "designated smoking area" and smoke right there, ON PURPOSE.
5.) The smoking areas here on campus are, I swear, put in the WORST PLACES, such as at the bottom of EVERY PUBLIC STAIRCAISE WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY TO THE NEXT FLOOR, a covered open building about 30 feet away from the SECOND LARGEST AND WIDELY USED BUILDING on campus, in the MIDDLE of the open area so there's no way around it.
6.) Above mentioned area has, literally, another 5 smoking areas in a 50 foot radius, all CONVENIENTLY located right outside the ONLY DOORS TO THE BUILDING and on the paths people take to hopefully avoid the POISON CLOUD.
7.) I'm allergic and can't breathe in it (think asthma attack and closed windpipe), so see 1-6.

So THAT'S why I hate smokers. They ARE for the most part, inconsiderate, take pride in their smoking, and laugh at those who don't smoke and/or are allergic to it.

If that behavior doesn't apply to you, then FEEL FREE AND SMOKE! I don't care, as long as you're considerate. I like pepperoni pizza, but you don't see me walking around with freshly-baked pizza and shoving it in people's faces and laughing at lactose-intolerants, do you?

Stepping off my soap box now.

Alright, this thread is back from the grave!

I'm ready to make you fools look dumb again.

End of story, no more visits to this thread as it is full of idiot like you all.

Posts full of 110% flame and -110% validity or factual argument, as I was hoping this thread was going by this page that this post was on, are always fun. They remind me when I was a kid in grade school and the bullies would beat up kids just for the hell of it, with no reason, and sometimes it was kids they didn't even know.

...I felt bad after I did it though :p

I was just bored at the college waiting for my next class so I read and replied to what I felt was the most relevant in the thread. I don't care if I "revived it", but if I did, can it be a bit more civil this time?

Wow, that's like, 4 posts in a row with only one interrupt, this looks funny :p

Filling out our enrollment forms for our health benefits for 2004...

New for this year at our company:

Non-smokers pay $25 less a month for the same coverage than a smoker for all health plan options...

Since our office is about 75% smokers, they are not very happy about this policy change...

Statisically speaking, smokers have more health issues than non-smokers, so they should have higher premiums...If they can afford the cigarettes, they better be able to afford the higher insurance...
