Reminds me of that pic that an ATOT member posted last year I think. I think he said that his mom smoked, so he took a picture of a room in the house. He took down a picture that was hanging on the wall and the color of the wall where the picture was was about 5 shades lighter than the surround area.

Imagine what that crap does to your lungs

I did some work on a computer for a guy that smoked like a chimney. Made the mistake of taking the PC home to work on. BLECK!

The PCI slots were no longer white. They were yellow with a layer of grime on it. My basement smelled like a freaking ashtray for a good 3-4 days after I took it back to him even with windows and doors open bringing in fresh air.

It's just repulsive.

People also discriminate against people that don't bathe too. But atleast that doesn't transfer to other items.

Put yourself in my position:
I have a magazine with some killer articles that I had been looking forward to (GTO baby!) and is about a week old. I haven't even finished reading the thing.
I loan it to someone who keeps it for a few days longer than intended.
When it gets returned I can smell it from a yard away, even over the smoke caused by soldering.

I'm not exactly happy about the arrangement.

I don't go to bars anymore because I smell like sh!t from the lingering haze of cigarette smoke that is present at most of them. I don't like having to ritually bathe myself in order to prevent my pillows and bedding from smelling like that putrid cloud that I walked out of. In a particularly nasty smoke laden bar, I will have to immediately toss my clothes into the washer to prevent them from stinking up the rest of my house with their smokey stench.
