It's so nice vacationing in Cali, no smoking in bars. At least you don't come home and have to bath/wash everything. I just recently heard that one suburb here is doing this now, one can only hope that it spreads.

I don't go to bars anymore because I smell like sh!t from the lingering haze of cigarette smoke that is present at most of them. I don't like having to ritually bathe myself in order to prevent my pillows and bedding from smelling like that putrid cloud that I walked out of. In a particularly nasty smoke laden bar, I will have to immediately toss my clothes into the washer to prevent them from stinking up the rest of my house with their smokey stench.

its a bar, dude. people smoke. especially when drinking. if you dont like it, get a bottle and sit at home, go to a friends house or find a new bar with a patio or something.

Read my post. I DON'T GO TO BARS ANYMORE because of smokers.
I go to smoke free establishments or to bars that have physical seperation between the smoking & non smoking sections. But it irks me because there are many bars that have excellent food that I would LIKE to patronize, but don't because of the smoke.

Most smokers are inconsiderate, plain and simple. I have no problems if someone wants to smoke. But you stay the hell away from me and from the front of buildings. I know it's a law around here that you have to be at least 25 feet away from the front of buildings to smoke. And they do smell like ass. People who say they don't are just used to the stench. I'm sure you wouldn't be happy if we supported people who fart in your face because it's virtually the same thing.

Would you smokers smoke around your wife if she was pregnant? Do you take into consideration ANYONE else but yourself when you smoke around others? People that may have heart/lung conditions...People with asthma...People with a general disdain for smoke and the repercussion of enhaling the crap?
