i was in the etg counterstrike channel a few hours ago when this link was spammed. at that time, it had not been released and soon an OP came over and stated that that file was a "fake" i guess and contained a trojan. i dont know whether this is true or not. but have fun~

I got that too... Only took 3 tries to get past that. You download a few files, and then you are asked to create an account. I just did that and am now waiting for it to be created.

Keep trying guys it will happen eventually. I got past that stuff and now i only have 36 mins to go on my download. Its real frustrating to keep opening steam over and over again but it pays off in the end. heh i might be the first person on anandtech to play 1.6. If anybody needs help IM me on aim @rpbri2886.
