Keep trying guys it will happen eventually. I got past that stuff and now i only have 36 mins to go on my download. Its real frustrating to keep opening steam over and over again but it pays off in the end. heh i might be the first person on anandtech to play 1.6. If anybody needs help IM me on aim @rpbri2886.

wtf? this thing is messed.

I have an account, but when I go to log in, it says my account is not there, or I have the wrong password. So I hit the "change password" button and I get my email address and secret question. I change my password and it says the change was successful. Now I go to log in and the same thing happens again... argh.

maybe this will fix my current issue with CS.

Problem: each time I get in a game, its sickly lagging, you know how the console screen scrolls up as you enter a game? well it takes like 10 times to scroll, and the sound and everything is massively choppy, choppy, choppy, in sick intervals, like a scratched CD trying to make its way to play the music.

If anyone has any advise PM me on this matter, i wants my CS!!

btw: system specs are:
AMD t-bird 1 ghz
512 pc2100 ddr ram
geforce 4 ti 4200 128 mb
win xp

it worked with windows xp drivers, /shrug
