OCZ Platinum. Good stuff for 2GB, but not the best for OC'n.

I'm pretty sure both the processors were at 3.2 when it was running. They have the intel speed step, so they clock down to 2.8 when idel, like the 600 series P4s.

Ran the test to see where my rig stands. I'm pretty sure I can push it even farther, but I don't have the patience to spend so much time tweaking.

my score so far : 31550

Rig:
Venice 3000 @ 2.6 ghz
DFI nf4 ultra
2x512 OCZ vx gold @ 518 mhz, 2-3-3-8 timings

I ran a series of scores with my 4400 while switching from core to core. Then I did the same thing, but OC'd to 2.55 Ghz. The main difference was a 25% separation in the FPU score between the 2 cores while OC'd. For the rest it(CPU 0) barely maintained a 1% increase.

The odd part is the FPU's on CPU 1 dropped 11% when I OC'd it, and the FPU's on CPU 0 increase 14%

My worst single core score is 24557 <---CPU 1 @ stock
At 2.55Ghz the better core scored 27860 <--- CPU 0

A 12% gain for a 14% bump in speed. Is that good or bad?

My "bum" core is actually not that bad (#24 on single core AMD @ stock speed)
So I guess 1 is just better than the other:)

What would gain from better FPU's?

anyways, sorry godsmack...thanks for keeping my seat warm, but i've come to regain the throne ;)

my new score of 59533

and is it prime stable? why yes it is

dual prime torture test, not benchmark shot hehe :D

oh madmax, i've gotten a mod to fix it so my screen name is no longer a censored word, so you can put my name instead of XXXXXX hahaha

Must be nice to have such a system, I just need better RAM!

450 MHz on Corsair Value Select is not bad.

Hey madmax.
I fiddled around with the settings and got a better score of 33181. Is it possible that you update my current score?
