Not that I agree with Fx1... but you are also using Steam as your "one single site".

I agree the prices are too high for me, but if people are buying it, the price is not too high, period.

they failed to deliver IMO. They really haven't improved the graphics over Crysis 1

Imagine how incredible the game would look if they had actually succeeded.

STEAM is friggin great and I love it to death. I also have grown to like Origin. It has a cute symbol and I like that orange color....but on to my actual question....did you get a new rig? I noticed some high powered items in your sig and I can't remember if you've had that comp for a while or not?

Yeah for sure. They said they'd give us a game we couldn't run, and they delivered. No single card can do it, you need two high ends. Still not half as brutal as original crysis was, but this will do nicely.

Those pics look awesome!! Glad to see that the graphics in SP campaign is the real deal. Living up the hype now. A very good looking PC game in SP mode for sure.

That poster was clearly talking about MP component, not the full game. Way to take his comment out of context. Many people here rightfully ripped the MP graphics apart. They were poor. Good to see that SP is totally different.

It will function, but your FPS will be low. To get decent frames it looks like we need two cards or the mythical Titan.

Wow, great looking game! Brings my system to its knees, but its playable for single player. Not for multiplayer without drastically reducing settings. Has nice 360 controller support too, can switch between controller and kb/mouse on the fly.

I think ill buy it this week if its out. I usually leave default settings and set the res up to 1920x1080. I know I was able to max crysis 2 and it was playing decently for me.

At 2560x1440 I'm at 1870MB VRAM usage with Medium SMAA and highest res textures

That only applies if you want full AA/AF and Extreme quality and so on.

Playing on High with a decent dose of AA/AF won't be a problem for single cards. Usually the difference between high and extreme isn't that much to write home about anyway, at least nothing that will make you think you're playing with poor graphics.

He's right though, in Europe PC games are ALWAYS cheaper than console games. couple examples:

Aliens on amazon.co.uk
Crysis 3 on Amazon.de
Crysis 3 on play.com

Apparantly that's not the case in the US. So you're both right, rejoice!

You play at the same resolution as myself. How is the game running on your single GTX 680? Smooth or choppy, and what settings are you using?

I'm wondering whether my GTX 580 SLI will allow me to run the game at very high quality settings..
