Cryptocoin Mining?

I stopped mining awhile ago... it's kind of nice not to have to worry about pools being DDoS'd and other "fun" stuff. I made a little chunk of change from the silly people that were willing to buy my BTC, so no complaints. 😛

I got a strange Issue,
I have a BitCoin installed two different Machines.
Now those machine does not share the Bit coin I should have.
Matter of Fact I am missing a credit too.
I always use one Single Address for my wallet
Am I doing some thing wrong ?

I believe you need to use the same wallet.dat file on both PCs.

But I am using one single address, it couldn't go else where ?

You don't pick an address for your wallet, it generates the address. Unless you use the same wallet, you can't generate the same address twice.

Maybe if you could post a screenshot showing what you are doing, because it doesn't make much sense.

someone needs to read up at the bitcoin wiki on the difference between public encryption key and private key. wallet address ≠ wallet.dat

wow... i'm lost 3 sapphire 5830 in the last two days because of heat... it's too damn hot... rma time

Good luck. If they were the $109.99's they're going to refund you. If you're lucky they'll give you a $10 credit toward buying a $129.99 replacement.

I had to put my Bitcoin tower in my basement and back the over clocks down. My two 5830s are managing just over 600 Mhashs. I had to back my 6970 down a bit to 400 Mhash. Then there are the power outages that even for a minute have been messing things up for me.

Dang, guess I'm glad it's in the mid 60's here in Seattle. My 4 mining pc's are running along just fine, though I do have them all at stock or slightly underclocked. I'm somewhere around 1.1ghash with a 6970, 5870, 5770, and a 5830.

it was 100 here today but the central air keeps the house at 72,the highest temp was 61c on my 5850 the 5830 stayed in the 50's

You could be getting much much more. My 4 5830s pull in 1050.

I didn't pick my own address

But under setting they all share same address
My bit coin address changes every time I run the software ?
any rate it is only .001 I do not care so much of it,
However I would like to know I am not doing some thing foolish!

With a pair of 6950's I'm averaging 730MH/s according to GUIminer (629MH/s according to mineco.in). At this rate I'm getting ~.15BC a day which means a little over one BC per week. At the average sell price of $14, that's only $56-58 per month. Subtract the amount of electricity I use and it really doesn't seem worth it.

Uh, that's really low. With 750 MH/s I'm getting close to .5 BTC a day. About .47.
