I'm 5'8" and a bit over 200lbs. 25 years old. My bench press is really crappy compared to my squat and deadlift. I have some pictures from last summer on pics.bbzzdd.com. Just search for crt1530.

hmm actually ur upper body is not as big as I thought it would be, but ur legs are frikkin huge!!

I have the same height as you, but currently at around 150 pounds. My current goal is to be able to do half of the weights u are lifting, maybe look half as good 🙂

I wasn't going to lift tonight, but the possibility of doing some strongman training this coming Sunday made me decide to lift MWF instead of TRS.

The first round of squats felt really strong and fast. I put the belt on for the doubles of 415 just because I don't use that much weight on a regular basis. I did bodyweight dips on one minute intervals instead of weighted to speed things along. The second round of squats were way too slow. I must've just hit a wall. The first two sets of 390x2 were so slow that I put my belt on for the last two sets.

The belt is simply a tool. I try to use it as little as possible. It makes the squats a bit easier because it helps you increase your intra abdominal pressure and stability. I mention it because I use this log as a record of my training so I can go back and see what did and did not work. If I leave out details, then I won't have the whole picture.

I met up with two guys who compete in strongman today. It was cool to be able to train with guys who are much stronger than I am. We started off on stones. It was much different than anything I've tried before. I was able to place the 230lb stone several times and got the 280lb stone to my lap a handful of times.

After the stones and much time spent attempting to take off the tacky, we went to a local highschool and did some overhead pressing and deadlifting. I bowed out after 185 and the other guys worked up to 315 and 335. I decided that since I skipped deadlift on Wednesday, I should have something to show for it.
