It's unfortunate that this means more harassment may have taken place, but at the same time... is anyone shocked that Hannity could be just as much of a scumbag to women as O'Reilly or Ailes? I mean, we knew he was already a general-purpose scumbag, but...

At this rate, Fox News will be hosted by Shep Smith and a few interns.

I'd be shocked if a company like fox who seemed to have a marketing gimmick of hiring attractive females to repeat stupid shit would have a culture of treating women like shit.

Its shocking, I tell you shocking!

What? There are plenty of TV stations that hire attractive on-air talent and have not cultured an environment of sexual harassment. There are also plenty of businesses that hire attractive talent that have nothing to do with television and media and they do not have that sort of culture.

No it wasn't. Learn to read and comprehend. The post is basically that an organization with hiring practices like that can be expected to have a culture that treats women like shit. That's just simply not true and is a lazy assessment of Fox. Also implies that less than attractive women can't get harassed. It really was just a poor quality post all around, as is yours.

Fox has a culture of sexual harassment, that much is apparent. They also hire attractive on air talent (possibly more than just on-air), the two often are mutually exclusive, many companies successfully hire attractive employees and do not sexually harassment. That is where I had my disagreement with the post. Not anything to do with Fox News sexual harassment, but by saying it is bound to happen because the women they hire are attractive is absurd.

How many attractive female employees would you need to be around before you were bound to sexually harass them? That's more or less my point.

I'd agree with that. While I think we should get away from the strategy of hiring women simply because we believe pretty female faces boost ratings, the bigger issue here is that Fox's top male execs and on-air personalities act as if they're entitled to sex. Either make them mend their ways or (more likely) get rid of them.

The sad thing is that I'm not expecting a true cultural change so long as Fox News is basically a mouthpiece for the Republican party, and that's not going to happen when the Murdochs are still in charge.

That was O'Reilly's first mistake and it would have been fine so long as he didn't settle with 4 more women after that. You can't keep settling and still maintain you did nothing wrong. If he's innocent then he needs to stand up to one of them. Settling just invites more women to sue him and eventually this takes a toll on his reputation. He should know that.

Both in the OP article and subsequent posts it was mentioned that plantiffs had physical evidence of said behavior, but degenerates are obliged to pretend they can't read.

I have no idea about any evidence and neither do you. I think we can agree that it's awfully hard for O'Reilly to claim innocence after 5 settlements

The right wing certainly isn't the party that frequently uses the battle standard of the traitors who fought to preserve slavery.
