Thank you very much for checking. I will confirm this tomorrow morning when I'm there at 8:45 for the 9 opening ;), and come out with my 200 CD wallet

Thanks again!

Just to clarify, the sale prices are currently available online. The one thing I wanted (the game pad) is already sold out so I guess I wont be getting anything :(

Yes, the sale prices are already online, but beware.

SOME of the rebate forms specify that eligible purchases must be made between 6pm and midnight.

Others, however, do not. In fact, I think most of them do not.

So check carefully the rebates forms, or else pulling the trigger early might mean shooting yourself in the foot.

Where did you find it on their website? I can't search by item number and I type in tilt game pad and get nothing.

Links were provided by fuzzybee on the first page of this thread for most of the items.

East Coast Update (Tampa, Florida):

I went this morning around 8:40 (my CUSA opens at 9). Approximately 10 people waiting in line.

When the doors opened, everyone immediately rushed for the refurbished HP printer (29.99 after instant savings). I headed for the 200 CD cases (bought 2), and the Norton package.

Plenty of CD cases were left, but the printers sold out in literally approximately 1 or 2 minutes. When I left at 9:10, the last printer was being scanned. I don't know if my situation is going to reflect yours, but that's how it was - just wanted to update you guys. So the back page is definitely valid from opening today to closing on the 23rd.

Hope my post helped answer some questions and give some early insight to the CST, MST, and PST. Good luck guys!

Viper: I'm almost positive there will be lines at 5:30 pm even this evening, considering there were already 10 this morning, for only a few items.

Note to Tampa residents: The Hillsborough/Dale Mabry CompUSA has no more printers in stock. They sold out in minutes, as described in my above post.

There's probably no limit. I bought 2, and they should all ring up for $9.99. Buy as many as you want! ;) (But do think about others ;))

Its amazing that when you go onine to check on the items for sale. I found that all of the ones I checked were Sold Out - every single one. Some have said they were ordering on-line, and when they were checking out, it became unavailable.

Has anyone successfully placed an order on-line?

Just curious, as the closest CompUSA to me is 100 miles. So no deals from them for me this time....

I had problems with not getting CompUSA rebates on a couple of memory sticks last year. I took the paperwork into the local store, and they researched it and gave me a gift card for the amount of the rebates. At that time, they said they were working to improve their rebate process.

Cheers, MN :D

I was able to place an online order successfully.

But that was like at 2am last night, EST, so things were probably still in stock that early.

I was waiting in line in Rochester, NY since 8:40 AM, doors opened at 9 and everyone ran to the $29 printers. There was 15 of them and they were all gone. I didnt manage to get one but somone else found out that his memory card wouldnt work in the printer so he gave it to me and I got one :) All out now. People were loading up on the CD wallets too. Nice printer!

BTW, there was like 30+ people waiting outside for the doors to open. Printers in rochester are GONE

i bought 2 cd cases, all ring up at $9.99. there were only 23 left, and only 6 of the pvr cards when i went at 11am. sales associate said that in order to get the rebates, items must be purchased tonight, and they won't be pm. there were also only 2 of the keychain pda's left.

also, they DO NOT put things on hold or give rainchecks.
