As for the 137GB thingie.... The reason your mobo recognizes it as 137GB is that the BIOS on your machine is relatively old, and only knows 24-bit LBA addressing (maxes out at 137GB -- remember the old 32GB drive limit??
And as for the CPU utilization, i'm not sure what to say there... i'd make sure you have chipset drivers installed, and if it is on the PCI card, make sure you have the latest drivers for that!
