Interesting so in the case of my friend who went on a 10 day liquid diet, was the poo he was pooping just the digested contents of what he put into the liquid? Why does everyone say that black stuff comes out? why is it black? and what is that stuff?

It depends on what exactly is being consumed. If it's something that has a lot of metals in it (bismuth, iron, magnesium, aluminum, ect) those will turn your poo black. Like jet black.

Go drink a couple doses of Peptol and let me know what happens.

No thanks, I am quite happy with the current operating capacity and tolerances of my buttocks.

So, the general consensus appears to be:

-don't stick a hose up your keister
-don't need to take anything special, although there are a few seemingly decent products out
-better your diet to achieve what you want naturally, and enjoy the other effects of a better diet

Johnny Knoxville from Jackass did it one time on the show. You might be able to find it on Youtube.

It basically showed all kinds of clogged up crap coming out that had been stuck in there.

Interesting...

He was dressed up like Santa, to boot.

:p

LOL

I am going to try a laxative regiment and cut dairy and meat out of my diet for a week.

I'll let you know if I poop something awesome.

How far 'up' does the water go? And won't it feel mighty weird if it's powerful enough to move through your intestines?

I remember a Matthew Broderick movie that was pretty much all about this - The Road to Wellville. It was mildly amusing.

Some very useful info here

Wow! Most of that information is just plain wrong, if not downright lies.

No kidding. I suggest anyone considering something like this should ask a real doctor, preferably a gastroenterologist. Don't take advice from questionable websites, ads on TV, or from anyone selling "cleansing products."

People selling these products have a simple strategy: You have money. They want it in their pockets instead of yours.

It's good stuff...I was just thinking it was about time to pull that out again. Look at some pictures on that web page :D
