Mighty selective reading comprehension-

And a special intelligence review of two emails that Mrs. Clinton received as secretary of state on her personal account — including one about North Korea’s nuclear weapons program — has endorsed a finding by the inspector general for the intelligence agencies that the emails contained highly classified information when Mrs. Clinton received them, senior intelligence officials said.Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign and the State Department disputed the inspector general’s finding last month.

Received by Clinton & classified after the fact, disputed by the State Dept & endorsed by some nebulous "intelligence review"- there's nothing new in that.

The best part for the ravers is that since it's now classified we can't see it to find out how stupid & paranoid security pinheads really are. It can be portrayed as an existential threat to the Republic that makes the baby Jesus cry.

Hilarious how quiet the Hiltards are today. ;)

Hypocrite:
Why is it that you attempt to make a political point with emotions and insults when I'm just trying to use logic?

Oh. Wait. Never-mind. That answer is obvious. Thanks for you and all those like you for continuing the status quo.
No logic from you, just emotions and insults. Why? That answer is obvious, indeed.

Shhhh! It's not nice to interrupt their circle jerk. Let them shill in peace.

I am curious as to what they think was really new in the NYT piece. It was leaked weeks ago that our intel agencies considered two of the emails to be Top Secret. This new article merely confirms it, as well as the fact that the State Department still challenges the claim.

There's still no indication any of the conversations were marked Classified at the time, nor that any classified documents were moved from secure systems to email. Ultimately, the FBI must weigh in ... which leaves us right where we've been for months. IF the FBI exonerates Clinton, it will be interesting to see who has the integrity to step up and acknowledge their smears were false. Ha! Who am I kidding? If that happens, the smear will simply shift to Clinton conspiring with the Obama administration, and the rubes will blithely lap it up.

The FBI can't exonerate her. All they can do is conclude that they don't have enough evidence of criminal activity to charge her with a crime. There is nothing anyone can do to "exonerate" her, because the fact that she did something wrong has already been clearly established -- she's admitted to it. We're just looking to see if it was criminal in addition to stupid.

Gawd. "Did something wrong" & "made a mistake" have somewhat different meaning.

Doing it Hillary's way vs that of her predecessors has no functional difference wrt security or the FOIA other than providing an attack vector for her opponents. That was a mistake she's admitted to.

If the FBI declares no harm no foul then that'll just be another layer of malfeasance & conspiracy for the right wing to ponder & speculate, I'm sure.

Hillary finally says "I'm sorry" for email debacle.

http://onpolitics.usatoday.com/2015/09/08/hillary-clinton-emails-interview/

She's consistently said she has nothing to apologize for, that having her own server was allowed. Does anyone buy that she's actually sorry? I don't buy that bullshit for a second. The only thing she's sorry for is getting hammered in the polls. It makes her look even less trustworthy, like she'll say or do anything to get what she wants. Had she said "I'm sorry, that was a dumb thing to do" from the very beginning of this, it would have been believable. After months of denials and finally being forced to act because of falling poll numbers, not so much.

Scum.

The only people who wanted an apology over this wanted it to legitimize their criticisms. Well played Hillary.
I pity you - It's unfortunate you're too ignorant to realize that had she apologized before it was already clear she had done something wrong, or even when it became obvious that she had done something wrong, it would be an entirely different matter.

This is akin to apologizing to a judge prior to a sentence. At that point it doesn't matter if it's just damage control or not because you have no credibility left either way.

Just like all those other "scandals" that are always about to get good I'm sure. This ends at the conclusion of the FBI investigation, which will consist of serious tones and stern words and not much more.

Thanks, Virge. Maybe your comments will give pause to the rest of the Hillary haters so that they might better assess their traveling companions and themselves in the process.

You were obviously Benghazied long before Benghazi.

I'm not a Hillary hater. I despise arrogant corrupt lying assholes. Hillary just happens to be one.

And your link to one of the greatest whackjob conspiracies ever proves that, right?

Belief in that sort of scurrilous slime wouldn't color your judgement, I'm sure.

Depend on the Repubs pandering mercilessly to the faithful rubes in the meanwhile, convincing them that they're drinking whiskey from a bottle of wine.

Then they'll see if they can weave it into a greater conspiracy theory implicating the FBI, try to sell that to the chumps, bless their pointy heads.

Its pathetic how little you care about classified a3nd the security of our nation.

Hillbilly had many top secret documents on her email server. Are you saying it's no big deal?

Among the first 60 flagged emails, nearly all contained classified secrets at the lowest level of “confidential” and one contained information at the intermediate level of “secret,” officials told the Times.

Those 60 emails do not include two emails identified in recent days by Intelligence Community Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III as containing “top-secret” information possibly derived from Pentagon satellites, drones or intercepts, which is some of the nation’s most sensitive secrets.

Who gives a crap if she apologized? Big deal. I just want facts. Let the FBI do their investigation and let's see the results. Of course, there are those on the right that want her head on a platter and it won't matter what the conclusions are of the investigation. The same can be said of those on the left too with the opposite effect -- they don't care what she does, she is their choice and nothing will change their mind.

Remember it is also State that is vetting all the emails turned over by Clinton for classified info and relevance/time

Yeah, all of those career bureaucrats will surely want to vet this thoroughly as not to bring nay shame onto their department.
