What Righties exhibit in all of this is an astounding lack of perspective & eagerness to make mountains out of molehills.

She used one server instead of two. Per the State Dept & the DoJ, she and her predecessors were the sole arbiters of what's private & what is not on any server. It's their right to make those judgments, immaterial of their intentions or the results.

Yeh, she only used one server.

And then what happened?

Nothing any different than happened with her predecessors other than Righties going off in speculative directions attempting to portray her as "untrustworthy".

Kee-rist. It's not like she invaded another country on false pretenses or puffed up the biggest scam in the history of finance, the Ownership Society. Her political opponents defend all of that entirely. They'd do it the same way given the same choices.

But she's the one who's "untrustworthy", not them.

“Obviously we want to make sure that we preserve all government records, and so there was guidance given that government business should be done on government emails and that if you did use a private email that it should be turned over.”

What's your point, given that the server has been turned over to the FBI?

And, uhh, "guidance was issued"? Isn't that a general suggestion to everybody?

Here's the actual exchange-

I really didn't see any bus...

LOL - gotta love lefties. Always moving the goal posts. When the 911 operator said to GZ "you don't need to do that" you fuckwits spun that like she, an official direct superior of GZ, gave him a direct order, and he did something illegal in "ignoring" it.

Now "guidance" from the POTUS' office can be ignored on a whim without repercussions or forethought and the ordained ones can get away with it with impunity.

trying to wrap my head around how some of this stuff is even considered classified makes my head hurt.

1. transcripts of Iran conference gets leaked to al'jazeera
2. staff member downloads the transcript from aljazeera.com and forwards to Hillary, asking how the State Dept should respond
3. Hillary's now guilty of receiving classified documents?

Was reading the article you linked to too much for you?

“Yes, there were. Yeah, absolutely,” Jarrett said when asked if the White House sent guidance to Cabinet secretaries about not using private email. “Obviously we want to make sure that we preserve all government records, and so there was guidance given that government business should be done on government emails and that if you did use a private email that it should be turned over.”

"That’s what she’s doing, as you said as recently as a few minutes ago,”
Jarrett added. “And I think she has been asked about this multiple times, including by you Andrea. And I think she said, Look to do it again I probably made a mistake and I wouldn’t do it, and she’s working hard to comply with making sure that everything is pursuant to the Federal Records Act.”

Mmmm... introducing irrelevant information as character assassination. So predictable.

It's security pinheads trying to put the genie back in the bottle because information about classified information that's already leaked into the public domain is still classified. As if it matters at that point.

Righties love it, of course, being well conditioned to circular reasoning.

Mitchel quit asking questions once she heard what she wanted. You know, like "Can I get a copy of those guidelines?"

I suspect that Jarrett might have had some difficulty with that. She's just trying to put the White House above the fray.

Or maybe the guidelines are classified & she's leaking classified information, huh?

LMFAO!! Republican leader admits that Benghazi was a political witch hunt. Nice to see see them being honest for once.

Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), the likely successor to House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), told Fox News’s Sean Hannity explicitly on Tuesday night that the Clinton investigation was part of a “strategy to fight and win.”

“Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she’s untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened, had we not fought.”
