Christmas bonuses . . . .

$75 gift card to a local pub/grill, plus a Christmas card and a chocolate letter (first letter of my name). Plus we had our Christmas party, and a pot-luck/gift-exchange thing last week, that wasn't so much a bonus but it was fun. I got a martini-mixer set and a bottle of vodka out of it?

No xmas bonus here, as we get quarterly performance bonuses (usually a couple of grand each). No layoffs yet, and I'm crossing my fingers hoping that we won't see any at all next year.

I did pretty well this year, I got about 6 weeks pay, which is about twice what I got the last couple years. I was surprised with the rotten economy and all that.

One week's pay (our regular bonuses are quarterly and performance based), $50 Visa gift card, $20 Amazon card... not too bad.

Still waiting. If history repeats itself and my firm adheres to the bonus schedule, I should see anywhere from 20-35k after taxes. But its not really a bonus so much as it is straight compensation for hours worked.

Nothing this year. Our company didn't make any profit this year, but not because of the economy. We put a lot of time and effort into a new product that should really take off next year.

Job is good, I'm happy. Received an extra mandatory vacation day on Dec 26. While I'm glad for the time off, it kind of hosed my project schedule.

I got 3% of my gross salary.
But I'm a govt. contractor so I'm underpaid than a govt employee at the same level I am working for as a contractor. The 3% makes it help a little but still underpaid

anyone who is not in upper management is underpaid.

That is not true. I've met plenty of people in entry level positions that are vastly overpaid because they as bright as a turnip.

I didn't get a bonus this year but I got confirmation today that my patent will be going through. That's a $1500 bonus in my pocket. If they don't give you a Christmas bonus just make your own Christmas bonus... 😀

The folks at Google all got unlocked G1 Android phones for XMas... lucky bastards! That's a pretty kickass gift, and will probably insure that a few more kickass apps will be written for it.

- $350 cash (the real bonus come in May, along with a raise)
- 2 weeks paid off
- A nice Xmas party
- a 24lbs. turkey

I love my place of employment.....
