Who has children? Who is planning on having children? Who is not planning on children? What are your reasons for or against having them?

I personally do not want children but my fiancee does. I have a feeling this is going to become quite an issue in the future.

Aw, you're gonna be a Daddy one day! Nothing you can say or do about it. :)

As for us... right now we're DINKs but we are both looking forward to starting a family. I don't know why I want to have kids, I just do. I think it'll be great. I need the extra responsibility, believe me!

It's just one of those things in life that I wouldn't want to miss out on.

No kids currently. The older I get, the less I want kids. In fact, a few years ago I decided I don't want kids and that feeling has just grown stronger as I've aged. I'm sure there will be a few people here happy to read that Dagta has no plans to reproduce. ;)

See sig.

We just got back last night from a week long trip to Florida including three days at Disney World. It was exhausting but we had a blast. I never thought I would have so much fun as an adult simply by watching all the fun my three-year old was having.

8 year old son. I have full custody of him. Just the two of us so we generally have a blast since we're both kids!

i can't see myself loving some one enough to marry them, and i think that right there rules out kids to begin with (not really a fan of little brats anyway)

Much cheaper to pass off the picture of the kids that came with the new wallet as your own.

I have no kids, and have no real desire to have any in the future. However, you never know...

I would like to have children some day. I am just not sure when.

I do not want them now not because i hate kids but because i would not want to sacrafice anything.
I would want us to be financially secure first.

My husband and I are in our early 30's. We don't have kids yet, but plan to have at least one. My clock is tickin', I better get a move on it.

Have a 17yr old son, wouldn't have it any other way. Kids are a huge responsibility and expense but well worth it IMHO.

Having kids keeps you young and gives you something to strive for when you get older. Without kids old age could be pretty lonely, and without kids you can't have grandkids:)

I had my first at 22. I'm 30 now and have three. I'm done. Just got to make the appointment.
Personally I don't reccomend waiting, based on my experience, however it does play havoc with your income. I've never felt the desire to GIVE MY ALL to my company, I have kids, I want to see them, I leave the workaholic attitude for the single people.
Then again, now that we're not going to have anymore (knock on wood), I'm going back to school and thinking about what I really want to do when I grow up :)

I think it's easier to have them younger. You're more open minded and have the energy it takes...
