This video shows something on the other end of the spectrum. The large guy was attempting to inflict serious damage. He didn't look like he was going to stop until the guy hit the ground (and even then he still kept going). And the guy had nothing on him--no way to defend himself in way of size or strength.

If he had of used a gun or a knife I'm sure that the courts would have sided with him. What else could he have done? Take it? Thats absolute stupidity.

But he didn't. If the victim pulled out a knife and killed him, I'll bet he would be the one sitting in jail. Stupid? Yes. But that's the law.

Who brainwashed you? Deadly force would have been justified, I don't think he'd have had any trouble at all.

Did you see the people holding him up at the end? He took a serious beating. No question he'd have been justified in fearing for his life.

No way he's close to 300....now the guy at the counter I mentioned might be.

Actually looking back at the video, I think you're right. I'd probably put the guy at 265. The guy behind the guy getting railed at 220ish, and the big guy at the counter at least 285. Between the two guys not involved, they should've been able to detain the assailant.

The man was 6'4 295lbs, for those that said he wasnt near 300lbs

I dont know what I would have done in that situation. I am 5'9 125lbs. That guy is way more than double my size.
