I ABSOLUTELY would have done something. I could NEVER live with myself if I just stood there and watched a big guy beat on a little guy.

Good Lord... on probation and only got four years... seems to me like the type of guy who should NEVER be out in public.

All it would have taken was one guy to jump in and help. Just one. Those guys weren't much smaller than that big dude, but they did nothing.
I am 5'7", 140lbs, and would have been broken in half, but I would have gouged his fvcking eyes out. Or bit him. Or something. Anything to stop him from trying to kill this dude.
 
they just didn't want to lose their place in the line, otherwise they would have done something, but they were really hungry and wanted some pizza
 
oh how i wish there was a right to carry (i'm in Cali)...or that i was an undercover cop at that moment. his ass would have been grass, bluegrass.

that guy was really top-heavy and was distracted beating the other guy. a hard kick to his knee (preferably from the side) would have put him in some real pain.

Well I doubt I could have done much by kicking his knee. May'be some salt in the eyes?

This took place in Akron, Ohio. We have a concealed carry law here in Ohio, so its possible somebody was carrying and chose not to pull on him. Or the more likely scenario nobody had a weapon and everybody was too scared or shocked to do anything. I'm not sure I could have brought myself to help.
