I expect that he'd change his position if Hillary were in the same boat. What I was really referring to was how we conduct ourselves. Once we act like "they" do, we are them in whatever regard we decide to be. It's about us as people, but you get that. It seems not everyone does.

So what I'm hearing is if someone who has spent most of their life espousing an ideology that is harmful to certain groups of people and society in general announces they're dieing it's not ok to say "Wow, that person is a piece of shit."

If someone says "Hey, maybe we should examine the gun culture and police brutality in the US" but isn't dieing then it's OK to incite others to murder them.
