Charles Krauthammer: I only have a few weeks left to live.

Apparently he informed his readers this morning he is fighting a very aggressive form of cancer with a very very brutal prognosis.

I'm not going to get into his politics but I know where this thread will likely go. Still I can't help but feel sympathy for him and his family. Cancer sucks.

Charles was one of the few even keeled political analysts on television. Started off in the Carter administration in the VA then became one of Mondale's speech writers. Truly an outstanding thinker, articulate and compassionate. He will be missed.

No idea who he is, but judging by the people saddened here, I can only assume I wish him a horrible death. It's a shame he can afford pain medication to make his last weeks bearable.
