Whoops, guess I jumped the gun. I posted before clicking. I'm guessing the real 9.1s will be here today/tomorrow though, if they already changed the first page to say 9.1.

well, for whatever reason Far Cry 2 still hitches in dx 10 mode. This is completely inexcuseable this late in the game. WTF, if they let this slip by, wth else are they gonna let slip by

So the 9.1 drivers are okay

1) Stream still doesn't work on Vista 64-bit. ( need to test )
2) COD - WaW still has the line around the water.
3) FarCry2 still hitches.

I won't install them, there's no issue currently with my 8.12 hotfix and those 9.1 doesn't have nothing to offer for me, since they have different driver teams, probably these drivers were developed by october and hence, the lack of multi threaded optimizations found in the 8.12 hotfix and lack of HD 4850X2 compatability

Guess I'm going back to the hotfix 2 driver, but honestly this is very upsetting. Next time lets hope the put the driver up before editing the links.

I too am very annoyed. I noticed the line around the water in WAW but it wasn't as annoying as that dreaded Far Cry 2 hitching. WTF is going on with the driver teams. Fix these problems!! It's not like we are talking about older b class titles. These are games that sell cards for christ's sake!! If you want us to buy more of your cards you gotta make them play the games we wanna play....correctly. All things aside since launch my card has been great I just don't like how long these pesky issue's have been around.

Yeah, I remember seeing it in FS/FT last year. It was pretty distinctive, with the anodized-red one-piece RAMsink custom-made by iandh (at least that's what it looked like to me). I think lavaheadache was after that video card back when you first tried to sell it and got cold feet 😛.



As far as the drivers, I just had a look over at the page where they're offering beta drivers for Windows 7 Beta, which I'll be installing soon, and it still looked like they're based on Cat 8.12 to me...
