I played a bit of UT3 with these drivers and have experienced no problems or graphical artifacts at all. The only problem I have is one that I had in the previous driver version; in the Catalyst Control Center, the spot where you set clocks and fan speed, it does not show my fan speed, it only says 0%, even though I have the slider changed and I can hear the fan increase in volume when I change it. GPU Z correctly shows my fan speed.
 
I was thinking about this last night myself. I did a google search and read that they should be out this week on Wed or Thurs. We'll see.
 
They are working on the 4850 crossfire thing and the X2s not using both cores on some systems. Should be out soon according to the post by the ATI guy I read.
 
Even though i haven't played Far Cry 2 in a while, I'm gonna be a little upset if the dx10 hitching issue isn't fixed. Completely inexcusable this far after release to be still having troubles in a "top" game.

Besides getting ranked 8 in furmark, i should be ranked 6 tho but the first 2 are fakes..

I havent seen ANY IMPROVEMENT IN ANYTHING while having Xfire on.

Only thing i saw is at full load both cards can tip 65-70amps.

Do you have two 4870X2s or just one? It's hard to tell from your post. I don't have much experience with a pair of the cards but I can definitely tell a difference with one card when Crossfire is turned off. My fps get cut in half most of the time.

Do you have two 4870X2s or just one? It's hard to tell from your post. I don't have much experience with a pair of the cards but I can definitely tell a difference with one card when Crossfire is turned off. My fps get cut in half most of the time.

i have 2.

and xfire options doesnt appear unless you have 2 cards.

it seems like NOTHING is scaled to run 4 gpu's at once.
 
Scaling pretty much stops at 3 cards no? Same with SLI, tri-sli is liftoff, quad-sli = big e-penis in vantage, but that's it.

Btw aigo, I'd bow down to you if you put your HD4870X2 xfire setup in a good looking case. Right now, I can't help but flinch when I see that beautiful hardware with all out watercooling and full cover blocks, in such an ugly case.

Btw, I'd mucho appreciate some kind of photo from 65a-70a, and the rest of the setup. I could use it to shut some people up.
