And that getting bashed also extends to any that think both sides are wrong---which is the only correct and balanced answer that will lead anywhere.

Brandonb and lemon law did you even bother to read both posts I made before opening your mouths? Responding without reading the text makes you look like idiots 🙂 fyi

It's so hilarious to hear to hear Lemon Law and Jhhnn cry over racism and and hate.
Consider this: Palestinians are allowed to work in Israel, and Israeli Arabs are not restricted from traveling in the country; in fact Arabs and Jews live side-by-side in cities like Haifa. However, if a Jew wanders into the West Bank by mistake, they will get lynched.

I read them and both posts are just your opinion. This is an incredible difficult situation. I personally get tired of either you are 100% for Israel or you are a terrorist. The points you were refuting are easily refuted right back.

I was going to respond to brandonb's post but after re-reading it I would have had to teach him the entire history of the Judean tribe starting in the BC for him to understand the facts.

You haven't a clue as to what you're talking about. You must only read history from the Western P.O.V.. Self sacrifice is common in the East. It is only uncommon in African and European culture. By the way, it was the Tamil Tigers that really started this suicide bombing thing.

The Palestinians are the leaders in the pioneering of the modern day suicide bomber. No one will doubt that. They were the first group of people to use modern suicide bombing in a massive scale.

Heh, I see you're trying to expand the discussion to include Samson as well.
Anyway, they did sort of perfect it, by streamlining the process: you see 5 year olds declaring their desire to become martyrs, and they keep records on what kids are the best candidates for future operations. Also, I believe they were the first to get a 16-year old girl to suicide bomb, which tells you quite a bit about who you're dealing with.

Self-sacrifice is not equal to suicide bombings of civilians, although you do seem to be mesmerized by it.
Well, it's good to see that you think that all the slaughter of civilians in Iraq has a higher purpose -- tells a lot about your character.
dna don't waste your energy. I have talked about that and mostly everything in this thread. Backed up all of my responses with Koranic verses or actual history and they still wont accept the truth. It seems as if people rather have a middle east full of savages and backwards family dictators rules fanatical religious leaders rather than civilized western world democracies.
You can keep throwing out some pointless historical fact.
Sura 8:59 in the Koran says " The infidels (Jews, Christians, Hindus etc) should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them".
Sura 9 verse 5 of the Koran says: "Fight and slay the pagans (Pagas are again Jews, Christians, and other non-muslims) wherever you find them and see them, belittle them and lie and wait for them in every strategy of war."
Then do it. I would like to see you refute verses from the Koran. Or join Jhnn in saying what the koran states is false... ahah
Wow Jhhnn you really are dumb. Infidels are anyone who are of non-Islamic faith therefore they are Christians and jews.Originally posted by: Jhhnn

You've not offered up any actual history, at all. In fact, you've offered it was irrelevant-
You can keep throwing out some pointless historical fact.
Not pointless, at all, considering the historical facts contradict your interpretation of the Koran. You even had to redefine the terms used in Koranic verse to suit your own purposes-
Sura 8:59 in the Koran says " The infidels (Jews, Christians, Hindus etc) should not think that they can get away from us.
Cite the verse that defines christians and jews as pagans and infidels... rather than simply doing so yourself, attributing such to Mohammed...
And this bit of rather shrill denial and obfuscation-
Then do it. I would like to see you refute verses from the Koran. Or join Jhnn in saying what the koran states is false... ahah
I didn't question the Koranic verse at all, merely your interpretation of it. If you can't or refuse to recognize the distinction, then you reveal yourself to be a propagandist...
And, as usual, dna seeks to reduce the issues to emotional ravings about whose atrocities are worse- the Israelis or the Pals, and there have been many on both sides. Which really is peripheral to the organized slander of Carter, except that the Israelis are being portrayed as lily-white in the process... even as their offers of "peace" are transparently insincere, not being designed to achieve that end, at all...

What a decadent postal system is in the West.
Anyway, I guess you still don't get the difference between self-sacrifice and suicide bombing civilians.
Here's a challenge for you: show to me the honor in the murder of all the civilians in Iraq.
Wow Jhhnn you really are dumb. Infidels are anyone who are of non-Islamic faith therefore they are Christians and jews.
Notable messengers include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, all belonging to a succession of men guided by God. Islam demands that a believer accept all of the Judeo-Christian prophets, making no distinction between them. In the Qur'an, 25 specific prophets are mentioned.
Historically, Islamic scholars have agreed that the Qur'an gives "People of the Book" special status, allowing those who live in Muslim lands (called dhimmi?protected people) to practice their own religions and to own property. People of the Book were not subject to certain Islamic rules, such as the prohibitions on alcohol and pork. Under the Islamic state, they were exempt from the draft, but were required to pay a tax known as jizyah, part of which went to charity and part to finance churches and synagogues. (They were, however, exempt from the zakat required of Muslims.) This agreement has in the past led to Islamic countries practicing religious toleration for Christians and Jews, although they were never accorded the full status enjoyed by Muslims.
