Can gays sense other gays?

It isn't too hard for straight people to pick out the majority of gay people they come across on a daily basis so why would it be hard for another gay?

Alot of people that are gay, the majority of the population wouldn't be able to discern.
 
I can't.
Some gays you just know by the way they carry themselves.
Others are virtually unreadable.
You would be surprised who is and who isn't sometimes.

why do ppl call gay individual gays? When did gay become a noun?

But its hard to tell sometimes, I know a few ppl who I thought were gay but they turned out to be straight. And I'm not the only one who thought they were gay. There are also gay guys who I thought were straight.

But i'm straight so, that could be why i have no idea who's gay or who isn't.

I met a young man who worked at the mall the other day, he complimented my hair (he said it looked cute), and I turned around and walked towards him and we started talking and have gone on two dates since.
He confided in me he thought I was straight when he said that and was afraid I was going to beat the sh!t out of him right there in the store when I turned around that first time at the mall.
You can never be 100% sure either way.

Same thing for me - the guy I'm dating didn't think I was gay, and I had met him quite a few times before, and had hit on him too. He didn't think I was gay until he saw my myspace profile - lol
