Reportedly eventhough they have a 6GB lock on the game, meaning it won't run on a machine with less, it's only using 2GB of RAM during gameplay. The RamFix supposedly works, but I am not too keen on trying something that may hose my machine. With what RAM costs today, it's a cheap fix.

More I read though, it's not getting great reviews. Some said the SP is short and overall graphics are not that great.

The user reviews seem to be overwhelmingly negative for COD : Ghosts. Critic reviews are meh, most of them are 7/10. Although i'm sure that more than a fraction of that is blind COD hatred. Personally I like Blops 2 even though the graphics were horrible...

I'll still get ghosts for MP even though i'm sure the tradition of not so great graphics will continue.

Then you're blind. The screenshots he posted are extremely soft - I've watched countless videos from the PC and none of them look like his screenshots.
That video linked wasnt quite as bad as the screens posted but it still looked like shit in 1080p. Got a link to anything that looks better?

Here are some actual in game screenshots, not pre-rendered marketing pics. The game looks as atrocious and ancient as ever. I've read the huge file size is related to in game movies and not texture assets, which becomes obvious when you see real gameplay shots...

Correct me if I'm off, but something looks seriously wrong in those screenshots. They're too blurry. Need to comb over the graphics options a little more carefully. MW3 had that dumb quirk where it's internal buffer resolution was set lower than the actual user resolution in the options. Had to set it to "Native" for it to work properly, or else the image quality was muddy. Looks like the same thing might be going on here. It should look much sharper.

I agree with this; they look like upscaled images.

Heisenberg... :)

Just came here after watching TB's "WTF is...."
Game looks like shit, only thing I noticed is he used FXAA... maybe that's the culprit (not like I care for this game very much)

I think I know what you're all seeing. Nvidia's TXAA is turned on, which is known to blur the crap out of games that offer it and make things look like that.

So if you removed TXAA and MSAA or left AA off you'd get an image that is not as blurry.

There's no mouse sensitivity option?

50 gig install?

Brown washed up textures?

Damn. Infinity Ward should just re brand themselves because there is nothing truly left of them.

They say BOII was better than Ghosts, and I thought BOII was an over compensating POS.

Every time I give the series hope they will return to their roots, they simply take a bad idea and make it worse.

Hey, the marketing campaign for this game was great.

Unfortunate, but what was most important to the publisher got the most attention and money and it shows.

$60 box asking for this trash is a slap in the face. I just punched myself in the balls for even considering paying that. GB's of storage are now cheap, but from what i'm reading the game isn't even worth the space if it, the game, were free.

Stanley Parable, Two Sons, Odyssey to the West can be had, all three combined, for less than this and every game is substantially better.

I never really paid much attention to mainstream reviewers like Gamespot or IGN. I typically read multiple reviews if considering a certain game and take them as a whole, kinda like metacritic.

However, the difference in review scores for COD Ghosts from IGN and Gamespot vs everyone else is shocking. Many other reviews give it 3/5 or 6-7/10, while Gamespot and IGN give it 8/10 and 8.8/10. Do these sites have a hard-on for the COD series or is this the money talking?

Not sure what you're seeing, but vast majority of the scores right now are in the 8 range:

http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/call-of-duty-ghosts/critic-reviews
http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/call-of-duty-ghosts/critic-reviews

IGN may be near the top with some versions, but hardly enough to really set themselves apart. Honestly the scores at the 6 level look more out of place than anything else.

Hey, the marketing campaign for this game was great.

Do you think so? The only TV I watch is football, and the Ghosts commercials didn't seem to show any actual gameplay. Just everyday people talking about how cool COD is to people who have no interest in it, or people acting out gameplay IRL. Kinda seemed like they phoned it in knowing that people were gong to buy it anyway. Like a PSA..."Dont forget COD is coming out soon. We know you already preordered it, so this is just a reminder to pick up your copy." Normally their commercials show the story and make it look like a big budget summer action movie. If these commercials were for any other game I wouldnt have even known what the game was about.

New installment in the series (Ghosts, as opposed to MW), new console generation... same old graphics engine with washed out colors. Yuck.

I thought the "What happens in Battlefield" commercials were cool except they made some of the people so dorky.

Sadly that doesn't seem to be the case. The multiplayer only install is still ~30GB. Compared to Black Ops 2 multiplayer only which is ~6GB. What the hell they need that much space for is a mystery, as it certainly doesn't seem to be for textures.
