BF Bad Company 2 is way better than COD MW2 or as I like to call it Harrier of Duty2.

You no talents that don't even pilot the airplane your shooting from. There is so much bullshit in the sky in HOD2 it's not even a FP shooter anymore. It's a who can camp to get there harrier/AC-130 first and win the match.

Funny enough, I was arguing with myself about starting a BC2 vs. MW2 thread because I just sent BC2 back to GameFly after beating the SP campaign. BC2 MP is a joke, weapons don't feel balanced at all and the restrictions on attachments is ridiculous considering the damn iron sights suck. Oh, and non-homing rocket launchers? SWEET JESUS THAT SUCKS. How the FUCK are you supposed to shoot down helicopters or UAVs when you can't move 10 feet away from your spawn?

Yah, see, two can play this game.
 
BC2 is alright, it just didn't do much for me.

And I'm not sure how you can complain about harriers in MW2 when there's mortar strikes raining down every 30 seconds in BC2.

explain one thing then why do more people play mw2 ? at any given time there should be thousands more playing mw2.

It sucks but more people play it regardless ?

That's arguement doesn't really work. Liking a game is entirely subjective, and the number of people who like or dislike a game is all based on their personal opinion.
 
Most of the cod haters are pc gamers. Sure it blows on pc but it kicks ass on 360 and ps3. I've liked every cod made by IW. Black ops looks very good tho. I'll buy it on launch

I could never really hit crap that was moving, and I had to be close as hell to even hit a tank. Who knows, but I still had issues. Either way, I was really just trying to make a point that both games have their flaws.

And on topic, I preordered BO, but I wish they'd have announced the hardened and veteran versions already.

So, this is my little 2 cents to it all.

I consider myself a fan of the CoD series. I really enjoyed the first 3 games, but after that it sort of went down hill for me. I'm also not much of a MP fan either. Well, I should rephrase.

When I'm in the mood for a MP experience I normally stick to L4D, L4D2 and a few other games. The MW series isnt bad, it's just not my cop'o tea. I think the SP portion of MW1 & 2 had some pretty fun bits in it, but it was mostly unmemorable. The production values were through the roof right? I mean, really well made from a production standpoint. Particularly the animations and level design really stuck out, but the theme of it all is a little played out. I'm not trolling, I'm just trying to let you know where I'm coming from.

So all that being said, I got about a 30 minute demo of the SP game at E3 and it's is clearly--at least to me--the best thing Treyarch has ever done. They're doing some pretty cool scripted things in-game, the level I saw had a lot of variety, the voice acting stuff was done well enough and overall I think people who loved the MW stuff are really going to dig it.

The crazy thing for me is that the demo room was about 8ftx8ft and they had this massive AC unit blowing the coldest freak'n air EVER right into my face. It was FREEEEZING! Normally this would be a great thing because it can get fairly hot on the convention floor, but this was verging on awesomely ridiculous. Ironically enough they were showing off an ice level, so the demo almost had this kind of 4D thing going for it. 🙂

Again, though the game didnt really get me very excited (like when I saw Portal 2 or XCOM), I do think CoD fans will like it.

i played both and liked both. and ill prolly end of playing this one and enjoying it also.

and as much as people loved to hate w@w. i liked that game to.
 
OK, I will never spend $150 on a special edition, but I have to admit that the RC car in the Prestige Edition is pretty cool, even though it's likely a cheap piece of crap. It has a camera that transmits to a little LCD on the remote.

Because there are a shit ton of little kids that play it.
The kids play BF and relize they suck balls at FPS and go back to Harrier of Duty for their easy kills.

BF is an adults game.

Since this is a BC2 vs MW2 thread I guess I have to give my opinion.

BC2 is much better. Although I was an old school Battlefield 2 player so I've always loved this type of game play more.

MW1 was fun and I played it a ton but MW2 is/was all about shotguns, knife warping, and kill streak camping so the harrier or chopper can do your job for u. It got ridiculous. Maybe they've fixed a bunch of that and made it a game about shooting and strategy again but I'll never know cuz I've moved on.

You're all acting like children with your insults, you provide no actual insight into the games. Like I said, go start another thread if you want to act like this. I'm sorry I even instigated against the original person who decided to talk shit about a completely different game.
